Just watched one of the reviews and this looks so much better than I expected, especially after reading so much negativity here.

I wouldn’t spend $6k on it but I wouldn’t spend $700 a night on a deluxe resort either so I’m not exactly their target market.

If it ever reaches the $3k price range (or a long lost uncle leaves me a fortune) I’d splurge for it though. Looks like a fun experience.

I've put my wallet in the vault on this one. I was ready. I can play Video games on my computer for free, comic con in Atlanta every year, 300 bucks, 2 people for 3 days, 225 bucks for 1 day ticket to SWGE for 2 people, 100 bucks for QS while I'm there, 60 bucks for LL's to ROTR and Genie for Smuggler's run.

Did I miss anything?
You missed fueling more bloat on an already bloated stock price

Since we've been discussing the unhidden warehouses, here are some stills from someone's video showing the drive up to the Star Cruiser that show how readily visible the showbuildings are for Galaxy's Edge and the Starcruiser:

I actually don't think the Starcruiser's show building is as big a problem as the backside of GE.
It's easier for me to pretend that the Starcruiser building is merely the rest of the terminal building that's functional and off limits to guests - and not the "ship" itself. Kids for instance wouldn't necessarily know that the structure they see is the one they'll be staying in.
Seeing the back side of GE however throws off the whole illusion, it would really hurt things for kids.

As an aside... for any Ahsoka fans, Ashley Eckstein, who voiced her in the Clone Wars and the Last Jedi was there with her husband. She can be seen in a number of vlogger videos (I'm pretty sure they own a home at Golden Oak). As a HUGE Ahsoka fan, I probably would have just tried to hang out and talk to her during this thing.

I wouldn't go because I'm just not that into this.

My guy would want to go, so if I had to be convinced...nope, won't happen. :D

Quoting myself:

I'm finally watching Molly on AllEars (yes, I know, her review can't be trusted) and this looks like a blast! It's definitely not the kind of role-playing I was thinking (Role Models anyone? :D), more of just fun interactions, your own adventure type stuff...the ship looks cool, the rooms are snug but cool, the food looks great. I bet if you went with a group of people, would be even more fun.

If it did not cost so much (yes I know, I'm delusional to think cost may go down) - I could see tacking two days on to an already planned trip for this. Maybe even doing this and then on to a cruise or Universal or something.

It definitely is dreadful... I just don't see anyone cancelling their reservations over it.
And I'm sure that nobody books a trip because of the strategic reveal of Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon . . . but when you take pride in what you're doing you go to the lengths to stage it right. It's confounding how wrong the staging is here for the most expensive experience on property.

I think the main story parts look fun, but some of the other activities look mediocre (at best). I also still think the dining room looks pretty bad, whereas the lounge looks very solid. It feels really up and down in terms of the overall experience.

It seems to me like it might be better as an 8 hour one day experience instead of the two night cruise, where they could focus entirely on the highs without any of the extraneous filler (like dance lessons).

so the 'shuttle' to the halycon is a legit elevator? An odd choice I would think.

The control panel in it looks like it has the statutory kind of controls/lockouts of an elevator.

I understand the purpose of the limited view windows, but I wonder if kids can actually see all the way through them given those angles? would be interesting to know.

Just a thought. I do think this will be slightly better in experience, which may or may not increase the value for some because once the paid guests are in full force it will not be as crowded as all of the invites.
I would have said the opposite... because you typically don't run full capacity during previews or media events. For both the better 'look' - that people get the ideal experience and because staffing doesn't want to be strained.

It's good to hear the performances are going well. Sad that those performers don't get tipped for great service like the CMs on the cruise ships do... where 'mandatory' tipping is basically a thing.
Dude…tips aren’t a thing in LBV…you know thst

People don’t work in Orlando for fortune and glory

The only reason it happens on dcl is because it’s industry Standard and no way to eliminate it.
