There are 100 cabins
He means, when a date opens up on the calendar after being sold out we don't know if that is 1 room, 10 rooms , 50 rooms.

I don't think it's the end of the world if it's a few rooms that are cancelled heading towards the 90 day cancellation date. Considering the price it will be hard to fill up on shorter notice, which is why there cancelation policy is 90 days vs 30 days.

However if there are 10+ rooms open on each of those dates then that is a really bad sign.

In the end, I expect we will always see sold out cruises open up around 90 days of voyage because inevitably some people will cancel. For various reasons, including not being sold on the value.

We haven't the slightest idea how many cabins are available. Bokings of 50% would be real bad. Booking 95% plus would be good. Nothing wrong with having limited inventory available for late bookings. Sell outs too far in advance would reflect a voyage which is underpriced.
I wouldn’t expect you to carry the bucket on this one.
(Been a long cruise without Disney, sailor?)

there is zero…zero benefit to having “last minute bookings” on this.

who’s doing $5K on a whim?

realistically - no one. But I think this is more people about round here just being TOO PROUD of themselves thinking about all that “luxury” they bought with their amusement park DVC…we’ve all really “made it”, huh?

I think be if the things where this and a cruise differ is typically the earlier you book a cruise the better the price is. With the starcruiser the pricing is static (at least for now). I’m guessing 6 months from now most reservations will be made closer to the actual experience, unless all the honest reviews come out saying this place is absolutely amazing.

Agree with this. The "new" trilogy felt a lot like a reboot but using third party chars and killing the liked ones.
Like Disney/Co making sure that these fan chars are dead and they can use new ones.

I mean, the dark sith.... the giant planet destroying weapon. The weakness on the weapon... The random hero living in an almost desert planet doing very basic stuff ( rey )...
The worst was how they ruined the republic from the start by making it useless and in the end they did nothing and were destroyed.

Every single character introduced was almost ad-nauseam replacement of the classic ones.

You got your "new" whinny Anakin, you got your Luke, You got your Solo, you got your Antilles, you got your chewbaca partner comedic thing. And a lot of forgettable additional characters that were quickly forgotten between directors and movies.
Who was the new Luke?

…yeah…all “geniuses” that were hired by SOMEbody…

and the lego movie guys…

…but all that doesn’t compare to treverow. We may someday here more about what lead do that…because we haven’t likely to an NDA
GoT directors were lined up before the disaster of the ending of the last season.

The sad irony is that they turned in a rushed ending so they can move on to more prestigious jobs like directing a Star Wars movie.

I still don't know why people were so shocked by the ending. It's not like the show was amazing and then suddenly fell apart over 4 or 5 episodes; seasons 6 and 7 were nowhere near the overall quality of earlier seasons, and even 5 was up and down (almost all of the stuff with Dorne and the Sand Snakes was cringeworthy). They still had massive, exciting set pieces, though, and I think people were just so focused on those that they didn't pay as much attention to the decline in storytelling until the ending hit them in the face.

I’m sure there is a circle of finger pointing going on with Martin, D&D and HBO that will last forever…

but the reality is that the networks never want to pay to see these things through

George loved the fame, the comic con love and the buffets and quit

And Dan and Dave had no clue how to continue a story…a downright awful thing to Disney

they all got what they deserved

I'm told the Starcruiser PR event will begin on 2/24. It looks like there are two separate "tracks" for the event:
  • National outlets get the full two-day experience
  • Smaller outlets get a half-day of playing around, plus interviews with Imagineers
So look for the media onslaught to begin in about 10 days.
I can't wait to see the Good Morning America segment, live, from the bridge of the Star Cruiser Halcyon...
