Maybe it's a matter of how soon you ship out. We're booked for May.This has got to be new or we would have seen it leaked before. Likely this is being sent to people who are booking now. Or the video is fake

Not sure about the SW demo. SW doesn’t carry the cache among young people that it used to. Not to mention there aren’t a lot of young people who have disposable income to spend on Star Wars at Disney.Disney World's core demographic is girls aged 4-12.
Disney wants Star Wars core audience to be 12-24 because they are the most profitable and influential group.
Not saying that it is, I’m saying that’s what Disney wants it to be.Not sure about the SW demo. SW doesn’t carry the cache among young people that it used to. Not to mention there aren’t a lot of young people who have disposable income to spend on Star Wars at Disney.
12 - 24? Profitable? How much of that age demographic has the financial wherewithal to afford Disney pricing?Disney World's core demographic is girls aged 4-12.

Plus their parents will pay for it.
There is a reason why advertisers covet young audiences.Ummmm that is a 50 /50. Some parents may foot the bill and others may say you can go and spend that kind of money when you make the kind of money necessary to cover it.
Certainly better. That's an big improvement if they are going to tease the experience at all with video
And that’s the problem with Disney. They have an audience with a huge age range that has been relevant since 1977 and yet we can make the argument that Disney doesn’t know the audience they bought. The Star Wars fan audience is broad and not age specific. For anyone i.e., Disney to attempt to whittle down the focus to a specific age demographic is limiting. "Know Your Audience" is one of the keys to success in entertainment and it's becoming clearer by the day that Disney does not know the Star Wars audience.
Wouldn’t it be fairer to say “This is not what all potential audience members want”?It can all be summed up so far with this:
This is not what the audience wants.
(with the caveat of maybe bad advertising brought the audience to this conclusion and the experience itself is the real deal… time will tell)
Bob thought of thatWDW needs to shut down the current LARP concept and turn it into Star Wars themed hotel/casino. Turn a couple of rooms into high roller tables with bottle service.
Bob is a FerengiStar Trek: the experience at the Vegas Hilton in the late 90’s
For 6K they need to have a M&G with the original actorsNow, that's a property you could LARP just about anything into. $6000 worth? Not sure. But, wow, very impressive!

Absolutely, some people saw the Disney hypeWouldn’t it be fairer to say “This is not what all potential audience members want”?
The reality is, some people will book this and want to experience it. Will they enjoy it? Some will. Will they think it was worth what they paid? Some will.
Not everyone will, some will be annoyed that they paid a lot of money and didn’t get what they hoped for. And if enough of them persuade others of that, Disney may see a lot of cancellations.
No doubt it's still popular, but I don't think it's as popular as it used to be.My tween kids and their friends all watch and know Star Wars. Anecdotal, but I see plenty of evidence that the product is popular with today's kids.
I don't care that much, but I don't get the hatred of the captain. What exactly is the problem people are having with her?
Established alien race that would be reasonable to use in live action. I'm not sure what would be more appropriate. What suggestions to others have about the role? (Outside of more interesting outfit, which has been discussed in this thread.)
Some have sugggested someone that looked like a real alien. Maybe Lt. Beck? Logistically, people are concerned about the long-term viability of dressing someone as a member of the Blue Man group. Is that make-up hard on the actor? Wouldn't have been cool to have one of the gilled aliens from The Mandalorian?I don't care that much, but I don't get the hatred of the captain. Don't forget, the captain will be available for the captain's table dinner. This has to be a character that can be "on stage" for a long time. Some have sugggested someone that looked like a real alien. Maybe Lt. Beck? So, again, how does an audience of 12-24 afford a $6000 experience?Disney World's core demographic is girls aged 4-12.
