There's already enough confusion throughout the internet when a new land opens, and all you hear are things like "Harry Potter theme park now open in Orlando!" "Disney opens new Avatar theme park". "Star Wars theme park coming to Disneyland." "Universal planning Nintendo theme park."

I can't begin to imagine how much more complicated this is going to be among the vast misinformed.

Legally, it may be classed as a hotel, but calling it a hotel really misrepresents what this is. I like to think of it as an attraction you sleep over in.
It should definitely legally be classified as a starcruiser.

Let's be real. We all know the hotel doesn't really fly into space. We all know it doesn't set sail in the ocean.

The cruise comparison is the best representation of the experience, IMO.

Deposit, full payment deadline and Cancellation penalties are closer to a cruise then a hotel.

Check in and check out are comparable to cruise more then.a hotel.
Meal seating and inclusion.
Entire stay within a bubble, ship and shore excursion.

Categorizing it as a hotel experience gives bad information. Categorizing it as a cruise experience gives the right vibe. I'm assuming the guest has enough of a brain to understand you're not literally in space or in the high seas

Do the riverboat gambling cruises leave port.? Are they even capable of setting sail?

They should have occasional Norwalk outbreaks on the Halcyon, so we can finally put this issue to rest.

My first impression of this "interactive game" is that it looks somewhat cheap and simple. For the price of this experience, I expect more than a simple Disney Quest style point and shoot game.

Star Wars doesn't really show the workings of a ships crew like something like Star Trek does. Trek could be a more interesting property for this sort of thing because it has an established bridge crew with clearly defined roles.

Who is the Halcyon supposed to be firing on? Repelling bounty hunters? The Resistance or Imperial forces? If the Halcyon is a "Cruise Ship" why would it be engaging in battle with war vessels? Curious story line.

I got the DVC email but not the passholder email. Are we supposed to just call ticketing if we want to see what the cost is on 10/7 and potentially book? For DVC it'd be member services but I'm sure the point cost for person one is unacceptable.
