Anyone planning to book this better take out travel insurance. These are the cancellation rules, as provided by a travel agent:

- The deposit is 20% of the total cruise fare with the remainder due at 90 days prior to embarkation.

- There is a 50% penalty for cancellation between 89 and 31 days prior to embarkation.

- There is a 100% penalty for cancellations between 30 and the day of embarkation.

- No date changes allowed within the 90 day window.

Travel Insurance typically only covers cancelation for a covered condition. Guests might consider canvel for any reason. People booking should at least ask about Disney travel insurance. See what travel insurance is included with your credit card

This is disappointing. I get why they did it for the second Wish cruise which was DVC only. But this is just for a chance to book in advance of general bookings. We should be able to book at cash just like we can book early for general cruises.
Aren't there thousands of members with backlogged points from 2020 and 2021?

So are you implying there will be no preview media event or are you just splitting hairs over what the Starcruiser experience is?
not splitting hairs - its not a hotel - ask Disney. People have expectations different between a hotel and cruise. This is supposed to be a cruise in space. If you can't play along fine, but at least call it a cruise, not a hotel.

That sneak peek image of the bridge is significantly different from the concept art in both design and atmosphere. It really doesn’t really have that Star Wars aesthetic that was present in the concept. It looks very generic in presentation.
