It’s the only director that got it...the pathos and ethos of the originals to a certain extent.

No. Rogue One is a fanboy's wet dream with no substance or depth. I don't hate Galaxy's Edge, but I do hate Rogue One. That movie misses the mark on what Star Wars is: a silly space fairy tale for children. It takes itself way too seriously and has nothing to say. A cool space battle with no emotional stakes. Man, that movie sucks. A big budget fan film.

A movie that exists to literally resolve a stupid plot hole in IV.

Uh, it had more to do with the negative reviews of The Book of Henry than anything else. Also, your comment makes no sense because Luke is incredibly cool in TLJ.

A plot hole that was explained in the movie as an overlooked flaw by the Empire's arrogance.

Jurassic World was well liked enough to show that he could handle a big franchise movie. Personally it’s my favorite of the JP sequels though admittedly the competition isn’t exactly stellar.

This is why defenders of VIII speak up......because of this incessant need by its most ardent haters to feel the need to put the film in its place, for whatever dumb reason they concoct.

Phantom movie and attack of the pixels may be worse...but solo and R1 are better
