No, he didn`t :)
I thought ST2 was being tested in WDIs sim at Glendale? That that particular sim in Life was being used for that `other` project?

My source said they were testing it at Body Wars. (This matches up with Jedimaster's info)

Also, each ride could be different in that there would be different beginnings, middles, ends, etc. that would be randomly put together.

It's gonna take more than upgrading an existing attraction and adding an indoor primeaval whirl to turn DHS into a full day park.

What needs to happen is addition of a real indiana jones ride, upgrade great movie ride, and add more dark rides (Nightmare Before Christmas, Pixar, Muppets, whatever)

Yeah, I know it's being worked on in Glendale.
Unsure what is actually going on with the Epcot sims at this point.

You know if they finally made Star Tours 2, and built an Indiana Jones Adventure, DHS would INSTANTLY become hotter than Universal.

Yea its like Kevin Yee said in one of his articles if there was a bigger Lucasfilm presence at the park the parking lots would be FULL an hour after park opening. Add in a pixar e-ticket or a Nightmare Before Christmas ride and they got it made.

What are you guys talking about...this guy played Davey Jones. Are you saying they just used him as a model for the CGI?

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0631490/

While he acted the part and did the voice, pretty much everything was CGI on him. I found this as an example:

Note the shirt. He wore a dull gray outfit with the little white balls attached for motion capture, similar to what Andy Sirkis did for Gollum. It was a pretty amazing transformation.

I challenge anyone to ride all the major attractions, catch all 4 of the shows, the parade, and eat 1 table service meal in less than 10 hours.
Of course it's all in what you want to see. Personally I'm not a shows guy unless stuff gets blow'd up, so there are only two shows for me at DHS. And while I can't do everything I want to do at DHS in half a day, it's also true that there's not a full day of stuff there for me. On the other hand, I think AK is a full-day park but others don't, and the difference is whether you spend time going through all the animal exhibits, those well marked and those that are not.
So I guess what the previous poster should have said is that with the addition of one or two rides, DHS would be a full day park every for those who aren't going to watch people sing.

You hit the nail right on the head. Every wdw park is easily a 1+ day park. It's only a half-day park if you make it one.

Sorry, but the phrase "half-day park" ranks right up there with me as "take it with a grain of salt."

I've done it...No lie.

I didn't go on the coasters but other people in my party did...I waited.:lookaroun

What - 9 1/2 hours?

I'm sure it can be done by an experienced parkgoer under the best of crowd circumstances, but even that is a logistical feat (given the show times alone.)
