Star Tours II - Soft opening watch

The construction walls came down around Star Tours 2 in Disney's Hollywood Studios this morning!!!! For pictures go to www.startourslive.com

Those walls were up just for the new entrance signage, which looks awesome btw... The side banners came down again later in the day, for some reason...

Looks very nice. One thing I'm happy about is the absence of "The Adventures Continue" tagline that was put on Disneyland's new sign. Just having Star Tours by itself is much better in my opinion; the tagline just seems kinda corny.

Wait until the exterior is finished... That is the official name of the attraction, so you will see that tagline around...

I was at Hollywood Studios yesterday. When I first read the title, I thought they were doing soft openings and I missed it. The area looks great though!

I just hope they continue to move away from the "working studio" backstory at DHS and move more in the direction of an immersive attraction which is what Imagineering does best.

I am getting a bit worried that only DL will see previews and they will work out the bugs out there. Hope I am wrong though. The wait is killing me. :lol:
