There weren't any real upsets. TB seeded 5 beating Pens seeded 4 and without Crosby or Malkin isn't much of an upset. Nashville was seeded 5 and beat Ducks seeded 4, but they had the same number of standings points.

Yeah it was! :sohappy: I have to be careful what I wish for with this series seeings how I'm a Wings fan. You hate to cheer for an opponent for your team to have to face in the next round only to see that team turn around and beat you out. So all I can hope is for a good, LONG, hard-fought series between the Canucks and Preds!

So it pains me to say this, but I have a hard time believing my Wings are going to be able to crawl back into this series the way they've played so far after the first two games against the Sharks. I'm never one to jump off a bandwagon, but I am smart enough to know when you are getting badly outplayed in a series and look two steps behind the opposition every game so far. Has Detroit - San Jose become Vancouver - Chicago of years past, where Chicago always seemed to get the best of the Canucks in the playoffs each year no matter how good they were playing heading into the series (minus this year of course). :shrug:

Disappointing Caps. Obviously the better team won. Now onto Baseball.

No the better team did not win...just the one with the better bounces..... But hey not everyone can win.....maybe next year!!

I'm holding out some hope for the Predators against the Canucks.

I agree on Boston over Tampa next round - better goalie.

Hopefully the Caps don't give up on their core players. I think Backstrom may have been playing with some sort of injury for most of the year. My guess is Boudreau won't be back. Sometimes now matter how great a coach is he's done all he can do for a team and it's time for a new voice to regain the players' attention.

The Red Wings could not come back from losing the series 3-0 and forcing a game 7.
So heres my predictions for next round!
Tampa beats Boston because I like Stamkos and Martin St. Louis!
Really dont care about this series because I dont like any of these two teams but I will have to say Sharks beat the Canucks simply because Neimi played really good against Detroit and wouldnt surprize me if he wins another Stanley Cup!

I am upset that Tampa could not pull it off tonight. But it was an excellent game played by both teams and I also think Roloson played an outstanding game kept Tampa in the game with some key saves.
