I really had my doubts on if they could get it done. They have been so up and down all season and that worries me for game 7. They have a solid core if they could just gel as a team consistently.

Doesn't matter what the finals are, the Caps are taking the cup this year. 
Shoot Sabres are losing 2-0 to the Flyers! The Sabres are not my Fav. team but I despise the Flyers.

I was hoping the Sabers were going to pull out a win last night....oh well.
NO...I dont think we will Crosby until next season no matter how far the Pens go. Is it really worth it at this point...I am not a Crosby fan..but do you really what to take a change putting him back in at this point of the game???
When Green went down on Saturday I stopped breathing for a minute....dont want to see him get hurt AGAIN.
So who does the Caps get next???? I am thinking Tampa. Games on Saturday and Monday in the Phone Booth.

Part of me says I wish the hawks would have just been swept. Instead they have to go and give you all this hope and then rip your heart out.:lol: I guess it gives some hope that with a few good off season moves they can right the ship and get back to being an elite team.

Realize I am probably the only Wings fan in this thread to date :lookaroun, but HOW cool would it be to see Tampa go all the way and end up having to face the Red Wings for the Stanley Cup!!! What a story line for the NHL it would be to have Steve Yzerman, one year removed from the Wings organization where he spent his whole career and most of his life, take the Lightning to the show in his first year only to have him meet his old team for hockey's ultimate prize!!!!

Tampa Beats Caps? SAY WHAT?! You guys got it all wrong. Of Course you get this coming from a Caps fan that has been one for over 15 years. Tell ya what the series is gonna be tough for both sides. Possibly going into a 6 game series with Caps coming on top to face the B's in the East Conference.

It will be a hard round...but the CAPS will come out on top in 5 or 6. With game 1 being tomorrow night Tampa must have flown right from Pittsburgh to Washington..wish it would have been Saturday instead. Friday game does not give me much time to sell my tickets...UGH...have a huge last minute cake order due Sunday and cant make it the Friday game (saturday would have been perfect)....or game 5 if needed. PM me if any CAPS fan interested in details.
