Great comeback - I had almost given up when it was 3-0 Rangers. I even changed the channel to the Nats-Cards game for a couple of minutes.

Not me...but i did not excxited utill we tied it up!! And I got out of bed and did a dance when we WON!!!!!!

Simple fist pump for me. And a whole lot of Whoopin' and Hollerin. But it felt like a weight of anticipation was removed afterwards. I was really on edge the whole 3 period and into the 1st and 2nd OT.

I felt pretty confident most of the way in the overtimes. The too-many-Caps-on-the-ice penalty was a temporary downer.

Boy it ever...All I could do was think about how we have cost ourselves playoff game in the past with DUMB penalties...POTI....very glad we were able to kill it!!

That gave me flashbacks from the 2003 playoffs when my sister and I sat through the whole quadrupal OT watching the Caps lose the game on a Too Many Men on the Ice Penalty on a Easter Sunday. Thanks Calle....

Finally they win one of these double/triple/quadruple overtime playoff games.

I remember the quadruple overtime loss in 1987 to the Islanders when Pat Lafontaine scored off Bob Mason, who was terrific for most of the game. I looked up Mason on Wiki and tomorrow happens to be his 50th birthday.

I'm originally from Charleston, SC. Charleston has an ECHL team called the South Carolina Stingrays whose AHL team is the Hershey Bears whose NHL is the Washington Capitals. I was a Capitals fan anyway but I am glued even more now that the Capitals rookie goalie is Michal Neuvirth, who started his career with the Stingrays. We're so proud of him. :)
