When are kids off in APRIL in your state???

Our school system has given our children off the week of April 23-27th instead of the week before or after Easter. We're trying to plan a 2 week stay in April and want to know if other school systems are doing the same thing.

Our sons are off the 2nd week of April, just after Easter. We may end up going that week, or the later half if my DW friend can make it, we won't have any DVC points because we will have used them for our trip in Nov. But we always have our ways to save some $$$.

Upstate NY here and our local district is closed for Spring break 3/31 -4/9 returning on Tuesday the 10th.

Our schools are out the last week in March. We are hoping to go down that week.

In Houston ISD, the only days we have off in April are the 6th and the 9th (a Monday and a Friday).

I think it is the week before for my sister in CT. I am not 100% sure on this one. If anyone is coming to WDW that week come to MK that thursday before that and see the best marching band in the state of CT. Lyman Hall High School is the name of the school that my sister goes to and they are good. Trust me on this one.

Hampton Virginia schools are out the first week in april, Just while I will be camping at FW.....

Schools around us are out the last week in March & Chicago Public schools are out the first week of April.

UK schools get the week before Easter AND the week afterwards - ideal for a 2 week break at WDW :sohappy:

We go for Spring Break every year, it is always crowded. Our worst experience was the Tuesday after Easter. I think you may be going at a good time for crowds. Our Spring Break is March 23 thru April 1. We will start to get heavy crowds, but still reasonable. Oh, I am in Northern Illinois.

In Gwinnett County, here in Georgia our kids are out the first week of April. I have no idea when Easter is, so I don't know if it close it or not.

We will be avoiding WDW during Spring Break - too crowded for us, but yal have fun and make sure and post a trip report.

Here in southern Ohio, we are out April 2-9th.

In my part of Virginia it is usually the last week of March or the first week of April. Sometimes depends on when Easter is.

Here is philadelphia, our kids are off April 4-9. I believe public schools are the 2nd to 7th. Have a wonderful trip!!!

Suffolk Virginia is out April 9 - April 13 (the week after Easter). We will be at POFQ!

In northeastern Illinois my kids are off school for spring break on March 26th through March 30th. We're not planning to go to WDW until Mid-June 2007.

Wow - this is good to hear since our Spring Break is March 12-16, 2007. Althugh we are paying Peak Season rates, at least it looks like it won't be as crowded as the last week of March and after.

Does anyone else have Spring Break mid-March?

Our kids are off April 15th to the 21st. So far, we seem to be the only ones off that week, which is great. The crowd levels on Touringplans.com look good for that week as well, and its regular season rates. Sounds like trip time to me!
