So are they doing another stupid team up finale this season? I hope not but I just don’t get the epilogue to this Peggy Carter episode. Why can’t they just tell self contained stories and give them the opportunity to explore different characters and situations in more depth?

I’ve actually been enjoying this season a good bit.

Yet again, some neat ideas during the season then just oddly mashed up for a confusing non sensible finale.

What If…? truly is a tailor made for a solid anthology series. New characters can be used, old characters can be given more screen time, previous storylines can be tweaked with some interesting changes. When they make standalone stories, it works well.

How many episodes has this version of Peggy Carter been in now? I think 5? I’m legitimately confused by what she has done and where she has been and I actually follow this stuff closely. I can’t imagine how confusing it is for a casual who just wants to watch a fun show. I definitely think that the MCU is wearing out their potential audience by making everything so intertwined and complex.

On the plus side, I really liked the daily releases. I actually thought all the episodes were quite good up until the 1602 one. I really didn’t understand the 1602 one and how everyone was there in that time (except the Asgardians who were alive then or Carter who was shown as being brought there) especially Happy Hogan Hulk.

But the first couple of episodes this year were outstanding. I love the different tones, I liked how they played on different stories (Die Hard with the Hogan episode, Winter Soldier with the Hydra Stomper one). The 1980s Avengers was fun with the Quill episode (though I would have liked to have seen Red Guardian instead of Bucky just for the humor value and interactions).

I’m glad to see a third season planned. I hope they run it differently but I’m not optimistic and I’ll probably be fairly mixed again.

i’m generally surprised that some stars came back for this, but the 1 i was surprised by the most was cate blanchett. her episode was pretty good too.
Most stars came back. The noticeable exceptions were RDJ, ScoJo, and Evans.

Just finished. Really wish they kept to a weekly release. I enjoyed the first season more, but this was still good. The lighting and direction of this animation is phenomenal. Glad Nebula continues to get love.
