With the Quicksilver thing right now I'll just take it as a fun nod to the Foxverse and nothing more. Need to see where things stand at the end of the series. Maybe Doctor Strange will return this Pietro back to his proper timeline at the end of the series. And we never see him again.

True. I mean we know this series is a lead in to multiverse of madness and Spiderman is doing the same. So I find it curious how quickly everyone is waving this away as an inside joke of no relevance.
The episode did a lot of heavy lifting that Wanda couldn't revive Aaron Taylor-Johnson for it to just be a wink-wink on the fandom.
BUT then again the last Spiderman film pulled one over on us about the multiverse, so who knows.
Yea. That being said if Feige does decide you know what I want the Fox X-Men in the MCU and Evan Peters is playing his Quicksilver from that Universe. I will have no problems with it at all. There's honestly a lot to love from the Fox X-Men they had a few stumbles sure. Wolverine Origins, X3, Dark Phoenix. But honestly I like 95% of content that came from that franchise.

I don't hate the franchise overall and I certainly have enjoyed some of the films. What I do hate is that it did a crappy job of portraying the X-Men as a group and particularly did many characters real dirty. First Class was the only one that was remotely a good characterization of how they are a family of outsiders and it ironically featured few of the main X-Men. So I'd characterize the franchise as some "good and entertaining superhero films" but "lousy X-Men films". I want to see the X-Men done right in the MCU and it would be hard to do with any of that baggage from Fox.
I also hated out it basically centered on Wolverine (a character I'm actually kinda meh on despite his popularity) and way too often went to the Xavier/Magneto frenemy well. The last thing I want is to see those big name actors brought back overshadowing all the other characters that still haven’t gotten to shine.
On top of that, the timeline in that series is so messed up that trying to do any linking to those stories unnecessarily complicates the MCU. I don't see how you can effectively bring in elements from the Fox universe without bringing in the bad stuff too.
I don't feel we need to have any origin story per se. It's fine to start them off already in action like they did with Spider-Man. But I do really want to see it be a team of equals who are outsiders - I'd love to start out with maybe the original five (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, Angel) maybe with Storm as well (could use some diversity certainly) and actually develop all of them as people, which never really happened in the Foxverse.
As for Magneto, we've had him so much already that I don't see a problem with cooling him off and going with other villains. He's not the only person the X-Men have ever battled. If they bring him back, maybe they'd refit his origin to being the first mutant used in the slave camps on Genosha or something like that which would keep the same basic concept but reframe it to a more reasonable timeframe. Or since time travel is a thing, they could have him be plucked out of time to the current day if needed and still use the Holocaust origin.
As an aside, I don't have a problem with using the Multi-verse as a way to bring in mutants (could be used to explain why there haven't been any mutants yet that we know of) from another dimension into the mainstream MCU. But I don't want those mutants to be the actors and characters from the Fox X-Men - have them be new people who can be fleshed out without any intanglements.

Re Magneto's origin. Maybe that could be why Feige seems to be leaning in the not rebooting direction? or at minimum a soft reboot? Maybe they couldn't come up with a good enough story? And decided lets just bring the current cast into the MCU through the multiverse?

The one saving grace is that I do trust Feige and have faith in his instincts in managing the MCU. Even if it isn't the path I would go, I do think that whatever the MCU does will be high quality and entertaining.

I see that @MisterPenguin had it figured out long before I did, but, for me, rewatching the scene where Mr. Hart is choking is so, so creepy now. I realized that Mrs. Hart isn’t oddly begging her husband to stop choking, she’s begging Wanda to stop choking him. Listening to Mrs. Hart’s cries to “stop it” you can tell that she’s trying to overcome Wanda’s control. Some of her cries have a laughing tone while others have an unmistakable desperate/pleading tone.

Well Jackman was the standout in the movies. I'd say he was one of the best casted heros ever. I just hope they don't focus on him in the new movies because Jackmans portrayal is SO iconic. I would love to see him have a multiverse crossover and then let him rest a bit.
This is exactly where I am with all this. Feige deserves all the benefit of the doubt for sure. While I would like to see what Feige would do with the Xmen from scratch. I trust he would take the best of the foxverse and make it work. Personally I think we see a hybrid of the two. He will make the Xmen his own in the MCU movieverse while combining elements of the foxverse.

Question, I heard ONE theory that he is actually SPEED, one of her sons, and just acting like Pietro to keep her somewhat sane. That to me might make a bit more sense....

Just came here to brag that COBRA KAI on netflix which dropped the whole season at once, is the number one streaming showing on 2 different NIELSEN ratings lists while wandavision did not make either list's top ten. I wonder why that is? Hmmmmmm

Nielsen's ratings come out a month after the original air date. Alright. I’m back to report that I’m really digging WandaVision now. The first two episodes were cringe but for good reason.
