SPOILERS: WandaVision Discussion / Reactions to Most Recent Episodes

I don't think Wanda is totally in control. She seems genuinely thrown by many things such as the heart on the calendar. She's the one in episode two that tries to tell Vision that strange things are happening long before he begins to suss it out on his own:
"Listen, something strange happened with Dottie. Well, something strange happened before that too. It's hard to explain."

Also, notice that the two "rewind" events just happen- we don't actually see Wanda do anything during those moments and she always performs some sort of hand motion to perform any of her magic (in either the T.V. reality and the greater MCU.)

Episode lengths are fine if each is as long as they wanted to make it. I for one am perfectly happy with how these episodes have rolled out on a weekly basis, it's fun to speculate and go along for a ride.

Agree with the sentiments about Wanda's control (or lack thereof). There are moments in the new sneak peek that begin to reveal the remaining sitcom eras, and there's one point where Agnes appears to break character and say "Should we just take it from the top?" (around 00:30):

I really think it's Agatha or Mephisto or someone unknown who may be censoring the broadcasts.

I’m not really feeling this episode. The little girl from Captain Marvel being the agent was a cool twist, but the rest of the episode was a bit too slow. This would be less of an issue if we didn’t have to wait another week. I want to see what happens next!

I think Wanda is going to be the trigger that creates the mutants.
I wouldn't expect us to get mutants this 'early' - meaning they've announced several years' worth of upcoming MCU films and no mutants on the schedule, so why intro them now when they wouldn't be following up again for years?

That said, doing this modified House of M story is the easiest way to intro them into the multiverse. And then you can add in the
weirdness of the rumor of Evan Peters appearing in this show rather than Aaron Taylor-Johnson
, so who knows??? #itsamultiversething

They can have the “creation” event but not know they exist. Them intro them in maybe cameo roles throughout the next two phases. Rumors of Storm in Black Panther 2.

There is a rumor floating around that there would be another 2 episode in 1 week release next Friday due to the leaks. Then it occurred to me that if they didn’t do another 2 in 1 release, the finale would come out the same day as Raya and the Last Dragon. Disney wouldn’t release the Wandavision finale and their big, new animated movie on the same day, right? I would love to get another 2 in 1 week release and I just can’t see them releasing two big things from two of their biggest franchises on the same day.

They really should have just released the show all at once. This once a week format has really hurt this show.

So this shot from the trailer hasn’t been seen yet:

My guess is she’s so happy because she just watched Geraldine/Monica sail past on her way out of town.

Watch for Wanda to be directly looking at the problem that needs to be dealt with and... blink.

i’ll admit this was a really cool episode. semi slow start to build it up, but i felt this episode was a punch to start showing viewers where it’s kind of heading. i’m sure there’ll be a twist or surprise in future episodes, & i’m looking forward to it.

This is how TV has worked for almost 100 years since it was invented, and still the format today. Its only been in the last decade, and more specifically in the last 5 years where some steaming services have dumped whole seasons for binge watching. However this isn't always going to be the case for every service or even every show within those services. Netflix has even gone back to the weekly episode release with some of their shows.

Too much subscription churn when services just dump whole seasons. I don't see D+ doing whole season dumps for any new show any time soon. And I don't see it hurting this show (or any Marvel show) at all. There is soooo much buzz weekly on each of these episodes. Its doing exactly what Disney, Marvel, and specifically Feige wants.

The model has changed. anyone who still does weekly releases are dinosaurs. A show like this would only benefit from a binge watch instead of a slow burn weekly release

Indeed.

When WandaVision is over in Feb, FatWS starts in Mar. And when that is over, Loki starts in May. And "What if..." is in "the Summer," and Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye are both in "late 2021."

So, I'd guess every other month, the next Marvel series will start. "What if.." in July, Ms. Marvel in Sep, Hawkeye in Nov.

Then The Book of Bobba Fett the last week of December.

There won't be more than two weeks in a row that D+ won't have an 'event' episode premiering every Friday.

And as I've said above... everyone has the option to wait until the last episode and binge watch the whole series on that day.

While that's going on, we'll get theatrical releases: Black Widow; Venom 2; Shang-Chi; Eternals; and Spider-Man 3.

Also, I'd wager that streamers will move away from dropping whole series to binge. In fact, dropping a whole series at once is a sign that the streamer is desperate to hook new views (like Netflix was at one time when offering original content was kinda new for them), or, they think the series won't be that popular.
