No one can be or ever will be another John Williams. However I think Göransson's scoring on this series has been extraordinary - epic, lush, exotic and thematic. Just one more thing that this show got perfect.Defining a New ‘Star Wars’ Sound with ‘The Mandalorian’ - The Walt Disney Company
For decades, the sound of Star Wars had been defined by one man: John Williams. And then Ludwig Göransson came along. Six months before …Read Morethewaltdisneycompany.com
The creature they fought wasn't a sarlacc. Was anyone else thinking that Boba Fett would miraculously burst out of the Sarlacc like it was all good?
Then I thought, nah... it’s impossible to be in stuck in the gut of the Sarlacc for that long, even for Star Wars’ standards.
It's a clone that looks like he has acid burns, so...This was a great episode.
I know we all recognized the armor, but are you all really convinced it's Boba? We thought maybe just a clone?
Okay. A distant relative to the Sarlacc. The creature they fought wasn't a sarlacc.
As someone who does not despise at least 2/3 of the sequel movies... the Mandalorian music is SOO much better. I really don't feel like the sequels added anything quite as iconic to the repertoire.
But it does show how someone with Mandalorian armor and weapons can survive and make themselves so indigestible that they get regurgitated out of a behemoth.Okay. A distant relative to the Sarlacc.
Originally, from what I know Jango and Boba’s armor were made from durasteel. Armor that wasn’t as strong as beskar but can still take a beating. Which explains how Boba survived the Sarlacc Pit even in Legends. Now I’m looking back at Wookiepedia to confirm this and apparently both the Fett’s armor involve some sort of beskar. I don’t know if that was recently changed but hey, I guess it works. But it does show how someone with Mandalorian armor and weapons can survive and make themselves so indigestible that they get regurgitated out of a behemoth.
He was also confirmed to fight in the battle of Endor and a guy with a white beard on Han’s team in RotJ was retconned to in fact be Rex.(Older) Rex appeared in Rebels which was set about 5-10 years before this show. He’d certainly not be a young guy but could absolutely be doable if they had wanted

While i agree there is limited progression of the plot, it expands the universe to make it more “real” which will increase the stakes later on. As an old fan of the EU, im glad this series is as good as it is given 7-9 (gags)It was pretty much a throwaway episode...not really any depth.
But I still enjoyed it...I like it off the top before the story arc starts.
Im so confused as to what changed once disney took over. I thought boba had all beskar as thats what he took off of jango. Another example, in the EU, mandalore was a planet of warriors and now its pacifist? I just pretend now that the EU is canon and anything i dont like is another universe like marvel haha its all fantasy after all, right?Originally, from what I know Jango and Boba’s armor were made from durasteel.
