Yet, they're now adding into The High Republic that Jedi's have to be celibate. So they do want the Vatican references.
Huh?...high republic wha?

Why does this even need to be brought up in a Star Wars story...?Actually lets circle back on what I said. I was wrong. I glanced at a poorly written article about the discussions of the Jedi, sex and love in one of the new HR books. My bad and a lesson to be learned.
The author of the article was wrong, which then made me misinterpret the article from barely glancing at it. An article about the High Republic changing the Jedi's relationship with sex. Mentioning celibacy. I read a quote, which implied celibacy. "so no sex" during a lesson between a Jedi and a Padawan. Rolled my eyes and closed. It turns out it was a non-article.
Going back, the author thought the Jedi were celibate. Which they've never been. "Changes Jedi and sex" "celibate" and so I put two and two together. The lesson was about sex and love. Later it's clarified in the book to the padawan the Jedi's can still have sex. Which is what it's always been.

So Luke takes Baby Yoda to go train with him.
But we know from the sequel trilogy that the new Jedi being trained by Luke end up getting slaughtered by Ben Solo and company.
I'm guessing this doesn't mean good things for Baby Yoda.
Unless he moves on from the new Jedi academy years before Ben comes into the picture.
Poppycock. You made the crappy movies, JJ...ask yourself?
