I still maintain they should build one back where the Restrooms are now, and retheme the whole Splash Queue Courtyard to a Mini New Orleans Square - best way to commit to the theming without disrupting the existing thematics of Frontierland's main drag.

Sketch is mine, not Disney's:

If that's the case, they'll need to find room for replacement bathrooms somewhere back there.

I think the railroad goes behind the sketch. It's just not drawn exactly to scale. There is room to put something back there between Splash/Big Thunder/the current railroad, especially if you eliminate the Briar Patch.
You go under the railroad to get in line for Splash.

The Railroad goes right through the sketch - I even drew the Train Station where it currently sits.

It's the exact same layout as the current spot, folks.

It really is a beautiful piece, you've got a knack.

(My personal ideal at this point would be that but over in the corner behind storybook circus, lol.)

I don't know if it's because we're two weeks out, but the sadness is really hitting hard now. Feels like a piece of childhood is dying, and I'm not even that old :(
I hope maybe, years in the future, they silently add Zip back to the parks, maybe give the characters a proper series on D+, I don't know.

It just feels wrong.
Splash mountain is the last ride I was able to have with my father when he had cancer.

I was in a party of three when I got in my log two weeks ago but I made sure I sat alone.

I’m a grown man, but I wept.

I can’t explain why it affected me so much but it did. It felt like I was losing a connection to my Dad that I thought was always going to be there whenever I missed him.

Via Twitter. Cast say no archival procedures took place today (and they obviously wouldn’t do this).

First of all, they definitely wouldn’t archive the piece before the attraction closed. Secondly, it was there this morning; they certainly wouldn’t archive it in the middle of operating hours. And finally, it appears other items in the queue were also stolen today. More info forthcoming.
How do you steal that during operating hours with no one noticing ?
