And make it a dinner show thing! Why WDW doesn't have more dinner shows is beyond baffling.Or convert Diamond Horseshoe. The movie interior's got a stage and balconies after all.

I know Disney is all about return on investment but I feel like when building a Tiana attraction they are missing out big time by not building a Tiana’s place cajun/New Orleans style table service restaurant along with a snack location that sells beignets.
Just popped the film on the other day. The animation is top tierI absolutely love the illustration in this film.
They are re-theming a QSR at Disneyland into Tianas PlaceThis would be great in WDW, but what do you do in Disneyland since they already have a New Orleans style restaurant and re-theming it to Tiana wouldn't really fit with Pirates.
I sometimes think they dont want to remember it.Disney offices in Cali -
“Disney World…in Florida…is that still there?”
I wouldn't mind an eventual squeezing out of pirate theming....This would be great in WDW, but what do you do in Disneyland since they already have a New Orleans style restaurant and re-theming it to Tiana wouldn't really fit with Pirates.
Lake Nona says they might just start thinking about it.I sometimes think they dont want to remember it.

My second favorite behind WDW Splash, DL Splash sits at #5 (3 is Dudley, 4 is Paul Bunyan Log Chute aka northern Timber Mtn at the Mall of America.)PSA: If anyone here is considering a trip soon to L.A. to ride DL’s Splash Mtn., do take a side trip to nearby Knott’s Berry Farm to ride Timber Mountain, a fantastic, historic Log Flume that greatly influenced Tony Baxters design for Splash.
Timber Mountain is wonderfully, fully themed to a working lumberjack town, from the Garner Holt AAs to the sets, authentic props, CM costumes and catchy theme song that plays in various forms throughout. It also was the first to do the enter-a-pitch-dark-cave-and-plummet-down-a-surprise-drop-into-underground-caverns thing.
And I actually think it was and still is, overall, the best log flume on Earth.
If they make it too New Orlean ish, then BTMRR won't fit, though. It's kind of a no-win situation. There's been a lot of armchair suggestions for a wider revamp of Frontierland to make TBA fit better.
I do hope that comes about.
Heck, fans, even those not crazy for PatF have been left scratching our collective heads why there hasn't been a Tiana's Place in the parks long ago. At least she got her franchise going on the cruise lines.
People whine about kids not knowing what Song of the South is, but does any child alive know or care about Dudley Do-Right?
No but that’s just another point that people don’t have to know about the movies or characters previously to enjoy a ridePeople whine about kids not knowing what Song of the South is, but does any child alive know or care about Dudley Do-Right?
I know there is not much to it, but I wonder if they will keep/replace the "Laughing Place" play area that's under the Railroad.
That's actually what I was thinking, especially for those little tykes who are excited about Tiana but unable (or too scared) to ride. It's a nice alternative distraction when perhaps other members of the family go and ride. It's such a small thing that I think she would easily build a New Orleans version of something similar for the spot and hope they do.It would be unwise to destroy that as it is a great place for those not willing to ride/too short to ride to set up a base and play to spend some time.
It will be redone to fit the salt mine theming. All sorts of possibilities with it. Grab your pick or shovel, walk on narrow boards spanning shafts, play in a mine cart. Sounds like lots of fun.I know there is not much to it, but I wonder if they will keep/replace the "Laughing Place" play area that's under the Railroad.

I also think the snarkiness of UO's social media toward Disney has grown a bit tiresome, but joking about people selling Splash Mountain water seems more like... well, joking about people selling Splash Mountain water than taking a shot at Disney. This always comes off as so tacky to me. It’s huge “pick me” energy, and makes both parks come off as super desperate.
Maybe try using your handles to promote your own parks, as opposed to commenting on everything Disney does.
Money is the main issue plus dinner shows are tough to run and make money on over time without change. Hoop De Doo is a miracle really. The effort and talent needed to run a dinner show day in and day out is one of the toughest things to do.And make it a dinner show thing! Why WDW doesn't have more dinner shows is beyond baffling.
