The music isn't lost: we have decent recordings.

In the future, as a side project as I will have a banjo, I want to attempt a recreation with a few other fans who are musicians.

I assume you were aware I've heard of youtube. And I've got multiple CD's with every note.

That's not the point. The songs are lost from the park. No more laughin' place, no more zip a dee. I don't like it.

Just like I don't like Dreamfinder being gone. That was how long ago, and I'm still bitter. This will be the same.

The DEI team at Disney has been celebrated, by some, for two and a half years and 600 pages in this thread.
They aren't celebrating the team, just some of the actions they put forth. For instance, I think the Peter Pan map they added is fantastic. I think some are just excited for a change, and that's fine. And I'm ok with that too, but for the 100th time I've said in this thread: them removing the music from the parks makes me slam my head into my desk.

Honestly, I think Zip will come back in a few years.

It is close to removing it’s a small world song from Disney history

McDonald’s is not a “Failure.”
Popular things are not”Failures”.

That’s all I was objecting to. Terrible and failure are not the same things. Everything you listed Tiana could “fail” at are mostly subjective and vary from person to person.

I think Frozen Ever After is terrible. But any ride that remains popular and makes enough people smile is not a failure. Habit Heroes was a failure.

This is going to be the most scrutinized makeover in theme park history. I got my popcorn ready.
McDonald's is a financial success.
It is an utter failure - by design - at making good food.

Neither is Song of the South.

Not really. They equally non-racist.
Not quite. I think SotS is really tone deaf. Should we place things in historical context? Sure. But the problem isn't that Song of the South is racist per say, but that it glorifies a South that was awful for black people as being one of joy.
Granted, it was after WWII, but it's still not a good luck.
Honestly, Disney should have just taken Whoopie up on the offer of being a voice over for the film, and releasing it. IMO, the movie is bad but not "lock it up in a vault" bad. Not sure which film would deserve that tbh.
