Because sadly in this country the majority of people don't have the time or inclination to say anything, whether it is praise or condemnation, they simply do what they do and if something offends them they take the path of least resistance and move to something they find less offensive. A habit the perpetually offended should learn and embrace.So you're saying that the petition is representative of the number of people who would like to see the ride changed, and that there is (theoretically) a minimum number of people that would justify making changes such as these? Then why, in your opinion, would Disney risk backlash from the majority and spend lots of money to retheme the ride?
