I feel disrespected in a way because some people are pointing fans as stubborn nostalgia-ridden people that can’t accept change. But if their favorite, let’s say Mansion, were to get a drastic permanent overhaul, they’d be sobbing messes.
Yep, at this point I want to see them all gone. If this is the path let’s be consistent...

Who's the more offended? The offended or the folks offended by the offended? I'm not being cheeky, just a discussion I've always wanted to have.
The only ones that should ever be offended are the ones that are suffering because of the squawking harpies that seek ways to be offended. Not simply because harpies end up causing others to lose something, but because it is just so blasted annoying. Somewhere in the early life of the harpies they learned that a squeaky wheel gets oiled and brother they seem to love oil more than a sailor in a Bangkok massage parlor.

Harpies doesn't get enough play these days, but I like the usage here. Effective and persuasive. And the Bangkok massage parlor is pure Kathleen Turner at 3 am.

Uncle Remus is in Splash Mountain. His famous lines from the stories appear on the walls of the queue and the exit area. Also Br'er Frog replaces Uncle Remus as the story teller at the start of the ride as he begins to tell the tale of Br'er Rabbit:

But TWDC knows it made mistakes here and they're in the process of a re-theme to remove the offensive material. So, it's all good!

So now quoting Uncle Remus is offensive? I assume you expect Zip a Dee Doo Dah to be banned from the parks from here on out, then?

This is just sad, man.

What did Haunted Mansion do? As counsel for the happy haunts, I move to... wait, someone will think of something.
The Mansion is based on a southern plantation mansion...and also it does have the whole hanging scene which is horrible taste outside of racial issues.

Uh, oh... you just reminded me the Mansion makes reference to people that committed suicide... we must erase those images from the attraction lest it be seen as the glorification of suicide and one of the precious minds that sees it might harm them self because of it... Quick start a petition.

It trivializes suicide and makes a joke of it whithin the first 5 minutes. It’s more overtly provocative than anything in Splash.

It also romanticizes the occult.

But I wouldn't want it to go away, myself. It's one of my Top 5 (along with Splash).

Though, I get your point when you said you would be OK with it going away.
