Keep in mind that the 2 and a half month refurb is going to be used to install interactive elements, I am sure. That was rumored anyway.

These new elements will all be broken by summer.
And why is all the greenery (brownery) turned brown? Splash Mt used to be so lush!

Of course they did. Because that's easy. They turned off the sprinklers on the mountain.
It is right now. It went down three days ago.So when's this 2.5 month rehab happening?
Oh praise Mickey. It is right now. It went down three days ago.
It will be very interesting to see whether the 2.5 month closure turns into a year or more.
I've got a suspicion that some of the first work they do will be exploratory work to survey the extent of the water damage.
I would not expect it to be that long. If more damage is found than expected, it may go a few months over (maybe up to 6 months), but I don't believe it would take longer than that to stabilize any major issues. Definitely not a year.It will be very interesting to see whether the 2.5 month closure turns into a year or more.

Or at least one syllable of it over and over. Good news for everyone named J.J.!When you go by the bees that aren't spinning around the hive, they'll buzz your name. Can't Wait!

I'm not 100% sure but I found another photo (at night) and it looks like scaffolding has expanded to the left.http://www.flickr.com/photos/91888925@N04/
