Seriously, I will have to look out for Penn Station now and give it a try. Is it just in Ohio or do they have locations elsewhere?
I think they are selling franchises and branching out, but I have only been to those in Ohio as they started in Cincinnati. Looks like they have shops in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee. Oh, and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

They just get it. They're catering to a more intellectual consumer.
Posts like this fan the fire that so many of us wish would just die out.

Exasperating how much people have to constantly pit one against the other. Here's a novel idea....go enjoy both parks and stop comparing whose winning the battle. The real winner is the fans and the loser? I guess maybe the pocket books of corporate but who really cares if they lose.

The un-intellectual consumer is the one who can't separate their desire for one park to fail and the other to succeed instead of just enjoying what is there to offer.

Do they have those thick cut fries like the Station? I will admit, I have not been to Jim's. I used to do business in Philly and tried the usual suspects with a few others but that was years ago. I always thought it odd that, to me, the best was actually started in Ohio. Go O H I O. So, Universal or Disney got anything going in that will provide the thrills of Banshee?

They have wiz wit.

Who said I want disney world to fail? I would love for them to have my money back. They are failing because they make bad decisions and abuse their customers, not because people are rooting for them to fail.

OK, using that logic, Museums or Art galleries are catering to an even more intellectual consumer. Oooh?

I know tone is sometimes hard to identify in the written word, but to imply that Universal is catering to the smarties and Disney to the droolers makes one scratch their head, or is that because the universal consumers overly large brain is oozing out of its skull cap? Don't we all go to theme/amusement parks to escape the stress of everyday life? To go and have fun? I have had fun at both Universal and Disney, then again, I have also had fun at Cedar Point and King's Island. Different kind of fun, maybe, cheaper than the Florida offerings, that's for sure. I guess the bottom line, simply, is that the walrus was Paul.

Oh, and one more thing, I think when the Spirit is away, Lee should be required to play in the thread sandbox for at least 30 minutes each day (or everyother day?)

And that is another plus, to me, for Penn Station. I will take some good quality provolone over cheez wiz any day. My order as follows: Steak with onions, bananna peppers, mayo and provolone, side of thick cut fries, (with malt vinegar) and a fresh squeezed lemonade.

You know you keep bragging about this chain place… I don't do chain restaurants when it comes to a cheesesteak.

It's much easier to twist facts than to accept an opposing point of view.
What fact did I post. I didn't even post a fact. In fact I asked for what you typed. To look at both for which they are and have an open mind to both parks expansions. Please share what facts I twisted I'll wait patiently.

Your loss then Dave. Too bad ol Jim in Philly did not have the forethought to sell his idea and create a franchise. . .
And shouldn't they be called cheez steaks in Philly? Because the Wiz is not cheese, it is wiz.

While processed foods in general have been criticized for years, the makers of this and similar dairy-based products have recently come under fire for using an illegal, or at least unapproved, additive called Milk Protein Concentrate, or MPC. In the case of Cheez Whiz®, MPC is used primarily to eliminate some of the inherent problems of cheese solids. When milk is filtered through an ultra-fine mesh, the result is a concentrated form of milk protein that has the ability to lock in more whey and water than traditional cheese proteins. MPC has not been approved as a food additive by the US government, however, so its continued use is somewhat controversial.
One surprising use for Cheez Whiz® is as a homemade stain remover for grease-based stains. Certain natural enzymes found in this product have the power to break up organic greases and oils, so a number people have been known to use it as a pre-wash cleaning agent. A generous supply of the cheese sauce should be worked into the soiled area and allowed to sit for ten minutes before washing. Even if it is not destined to be a pantry item, it can still be kept with other laundry supplies in a utility room.
