I'm a big fan of poster art and collect specially created limited edition concert posters (signed and numbered by the artist). I want to check out this book. Thank you for posting!

You will love this book. Buy it from Amazon, it's slightly more affordable. (and preorder the Mary Blair one coming out in a few months as well) It took me a solid week to make it cover to cover through! Buy it, and let's compare notes. :)

By chance, are you a Phish concert poster collector? Their 'official' posters are fantastically detailed and the sold-by-the-artists lot posters are just as cool. My roomie has quite the collection!

Are you a Phish Phan?

Those Goblin AA's have me conflicted. I like that the faces are fully animatronic and not animated, but the skin in that video doesn't look quite right and the blinking mechinism to me looks horrible. Then again it's a short teaser, maybe they'll look better when we can really see them functioning through the whole cycle.

Are you sure that what we have been looking at have been exclusively animatronics or were a lot of them actors in makeup (i.e. masks)?

Haha! More or less. Not as hardcore dedicated as some but I do enjoy most of their music. I really like Trey's band and Mike Gordon's as well....if not more than Phish!

That latest piece of concept art looks amazing! I can't wait to see more of the HP expansion once it's done. Is the dragon on the building yet?

I think it's time I start following the Universal forum more closely...

I strongly believe lighting will play a huge roll in making these look even better.

See I don't think that the Gringotts animatronics look bad at all. I just think they were overhyped, and are very basic. I also think the ride will end up being good, but again I don't believe it will be the second coming of theme park attractions.

I just hope I like it better than Forbidden Journey.

Doesn't look fluid enough to mistake them for actors IMO. I think the eyes especially give it away. It looks like a plastic piece cupping the eyes quickly to mimic blinking.

Plus they're in what is likely a queue/preshow area.
It would be exorbitantly expensive to use live actors here.

It's surprising just how well Universal has been able to keep a lid on the construction of this attraction. Do we even know what the finalized track layout looks like?

There has been some big leaks and some small ones. Someone does have a layout.
