I'm a big fan of poster art and collect specially created limited edition concert posters (signed and numbered by the artist). I want to check out this book. Thank you for posting!
Are you a Phish Phan? You will love this book. Buy it from Amazon, it's slightly more affordable. (and preorder the Mary Blair one coming out in a few months as well) It took me a solid week to make it cover to cover through! Buy it, and let's compare notes.
By chance, are you a Phish concert poster collector? Their 'official' posters are fantastically detailed and the sold-by-the-artists lot posters are just as cool. My roomie has quite the collection!
I don't get you?
Or are you trying to troll a comparison of the two park brands again?

Are you sure that what we have been looking at have been exclusively animatronics or were a lot of them actors in makeup (i.e. masks)? Those Goblin AA's have me conflicted. I like that the faces are fully animatronic and not animated, but the skin in that video doesn't look quite right and the blinking mechinism to me looks horrible. Then again it's a short teaser, maybe they'll look better when we can really see them functioning through the whole cycle.

I strongly believe lighting will play a huge roll in making these look even better. Those Goblin AA's have me conflicted. Gotcha.Troll? The first thing that stuck out to me was that looks exactly the Mummy station.
Doesn't look fluid enough to mistake them for actors IMO. I think the eyes especially give it away. It looks like a plastic piece cupping the eyes quickly to mimic blinking.
Plus they're in what is likely a queue/preshow area.
It would be exorbitantly expensive to use live actors here.
It's surprising just how well Universal has been able to keep a lid on the construction of this attraction. Do we even know what the finalized track layout looks like?
There has been some big leaks and some small ones. Someone does have a layout.
eh, Imho...I dont think he meant the theme, but the design of the ride (as in layout) and type.Gotcha.
I'd have said one is clearly Egyptian and one is not. But hey.
Couldn't be more different. Unless he meant both ride on rails.eh, Imho...I dont think he meant the theme, but the design of the ride (as in layout) and type.
I believe it's the teeter, @marni1971 I think posted a layout before.I've seen multiple versions is why I ask. Some with a teeter-totter and backwards sections, others with drop elements similar to Verbolten or TH13TEEN.
