When you have a website that has been accurate 90% of the time since 2003 to suddenly get almost every news break and rumor wrong coincidentally at the same time that Al Lutz steps down and Tony Baxter leaves Imagineering in addition to banning people who question the validity of recent stories you have to use your head and realize they don't have any sources.

Rather well summed up.

The hardest part is protecting your sources when you do get them.

I am not buying it either, it's way too late in the game for them to cancel it especially since James Cameron himself stated it was coming. I heard half of the delay on this project on here was fights about the land with James Cameron who wouldn't accept less. I doubt he is going to let them go back on their word now.
While I completely agree about cameron, I don't think he's got as much influence as we would like him to have. I get the feeling that disney doesn't want to give the same kind of control that Rowling had at universal.

Which is exactly what I said? I said that they mentioned a lot of cuts, but if you read their statement "Only a few concepts previously announced are moving forward, but in a downsized format. Avatar Land for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, it appears, has now been scaled back to one flying simulator ride, a handful of shops, and a restaurant." Which definitely suggests on their part that the boat ride has been cut considering how we all knew a boat ride was included in the statements about the land from press junkets and even James Cameron. So their article definitely is trying to state that the boat ride is no more. I am not saying they are right or knowledgeable just that based off of their statement they are implying the boat ride is gone however untrue that may be. Right now I think they are realizing that their readership is dwindling and they can't live off their unlisted podcasts and terrible haunted mansion comedy youtube skits. So they need a little drama to draw folks in.
I hope they're wrong. If they're lying, I hope they get bit back by karma!

Hmmm... Could it be
a Sith emergence from Korriban or possibly Yuuzhan Vong?
May I ask the source?
I'd assume the Vong were thrown in a dumpster along with most of the EU with last week's announcement of a new storyline independent of the post-Jedi expanded universe. The Korriban aspect would be very intriguing, though. My favorite piece of the EU is Knights of the Old Republic, which has a lot of cool Korriban-related stories.

EDIT: Also, AICN reported in 2004 that Episode III's title would be The Creeping Fear, so take this "title" with multiple grains of salt.

I give you that.

I also think marketing departments ruin movies. They give too much away in trailers, promo materials, etc.
With how fast news travels these days maybe they just want to be the ones to spoil it rather than letting someone else profit off their property.
