You already knew this but it's the first article I've seen that actually gets MM+. I agree it could work well for them but they may have overpaid so much that it doesn't break even. Plus the system is technically flawed at the moment which will also increase the expenditure on MM+.

Interesting. I know some posters here have talked about how the app can be used for directing guests towards merchandise and dining. Disney's app needs some work. I will be interested to see if it performs better in a few weeks on this iphone I bought. Cause it froze constantly in March the majority of the time I would try to use it on my Samsung

"Boy centric" to me says young males and I just do not agree that boys care about avatar, it was a fad. Star wars is proven to be 10x the draw when it comes to the collective IP. And I would call that "tilt" a very big tilt.

You're arguing something that was never an issue. No one ever said anything about Avatar being better than SW.

I'm actually not even sure what it is you're arguing.

IMO (and most people's I would think), Avatar is a waste of TDO time and money. Once Dis bought Lucasfilm, they should've told Cameron to take a hike and immediately used the money and resources to get a SW land up and running as soon as possible.

if its over age 11 i dont see it..i work in a school and i ve honestly have never seen a kid where a star wars shirt...now that doesnt mean its not popular and those kids wont go see it im saying i just dont see it.

You're absolutely nuts.

Yes, Potter is no doubt more popular amongst kids now, but SW is easily the second biggest IP going.

Arguably, SW is much more popular with adults, who are the ones who would be buying Johnny and Betty their tickets anyway.

Lou is just as bad if not worse

But Lou is their biggest "unofficial" brand advocate at WDW so he will get away with what he wants for now. Look back through the thread, plenty of discussion about Lou and Ricky and how the former is allowed to sell audio tours, conduct tours and gets pretty much everything he wants, including meals, comp'd by Disney. He's not an employee...but really he is.

ill take that wager;)

Let's go.

Planes 2 will outsell Dragons 2 at the Box Office and home video sales for the year 2014. Winner will be declared on January 10th 2015.

Whoever is the loser has to put "(Ignohippo or tweeber55 – whoever wins) is GOD" as their WDWMagic avatar for one month. If the box office results are a difference of over $200 mil in the first month of release then a winner will be declared then.

I will be happy to make the avatars.

He was streaming live while riding the mine coaster just a few minutes ago.

Imagine if the local news channel tried to do a live broadcast within the park without handlers...

Since when is "Under 11" teenagers?
I said
"if its over age 11 i dont see it..i work in a school and i ve honestly have never seen a kid wear a star wars shirt...now that doesnt mean its not popular and those kids wont go see it im saying i just dont see it"

meaning i deal with 6-12th graders thats the demographic im talking about

and i stand by it i dont think teen agers care that much about it at least based on about 18 years of observations and surveys that have been done on pop culture
things the last few years i ve seen that are very popular are harry Potter and hunger games
notice i said the last few years...middle/high schoolers are reading these books like crazy

You just said "never said adult did i...i said under 11 crowd...i was specifically talking teenagers."

Then you said "over age 11", now you're saying "under age 11". And you say "based on 18 years of observations" but then go on to say "the last few years I've seen…".

I'm confused (but by the sounds of your posts, you're much more confused than I am)!!! You make absolutely no sense in any of your arguments.

Right after i said that i specifically mentioned school i guess i assumed people would figure out i was talking about school aged kids
Relax and put down your light sabor

i also have a slight disagreement with your avatar opinion based on another boring anecdotal story i have but its boring and not really part of this discussion

This age segment that enjoys SW is probably directly related to the male parent of these kiddos.....who is in the mid 30 age range to early 50's...
