The Purge is barely worth a Redbox visit. Cannot remember the last time I could not wait for a movie to end.
Me and my friend walked out of hangover 3.....

Yeah, I tried avoiding it for Iron Man 3 but my scheduele only allowed 3D. Fortunately my theater has MOS in 2D at 7:15 so I'll probably see it Monday.I only pay for 3D if it is a far preferable show time. Whenever possible, I avoid the surcharge. The one time it was ever worth paying extra for 3-D was Avatar.

Iron Man 3 did a decent conversion with depth, but I wouldn't have minded saving $3. Avengers was the only movie that had a good post conversion IMO.Same thing happened to me with Star Trek. It was a cr@ppy 3-D conversion and it showed. Anymore, 3-D is a cheap cash grab. Most American audiences have caught on but it's still popular overseas.
Equally funny, but in a totally different way.Funnier than Anchorman?
I'll probably give it a rent (or wait for it to hit You Tube ) when it comes out to Blu Ray/DVD/Digital/whatever.Equally funny, but in a totally different way.
It's like they gave Rogan, McBride, Hill and Co. a budget and said "Go make the craziest damn movie you can."
And, boy, did they ever!

But this is what we've been talking about. So much is built around fewer films it isn't enough to just be a hit, you need a super hit.Really?! Because it looks absolutely fantastic, is getting fairly good reviews and all around looks likely to be a hit.
Saying that, in the UK there hasn't been a whole lot of advertising, but there's still 3 weeks until we get it, so there's time I guess.
I didn't like the ending. I was one of those people who thought their cable went out. I was so ed...thinking, "NOT NOW!! OMG, how could it go out NOW?!" Then it was over and I was like, "What? Did I miss the end? Is it just over?" Eventually, i knew it ended that way...so disappointed. After all those years, it ends with me thinking my cable went out.I like the Sopranos ending. Simple on the surface, but complex when you look closer at how it was set up and what it meant.
Oh wow..I didn't even know they were making a 3rd film!! One of my all time favorite films. Let's see if this can go on every 9 yearsAll this talk of summer movies...
The only movie I've wanted to see is Before Midnight. I love Richard Linklater's films, so I'm looking forward to it.
I'm sure it's just me, but I've really tired of superhero films that build to the perfunctory 40-minute action set piece at the end. I'm very curious to see how the Thor and Captain America sequels do, because they don't have the star power of Iron Man.
Totally understandable. The blackout was confusing at first.I didn't like the ending. I was one of those people who thought their cable went out. I was so ed...thinking, "NOT NOW!! After watching it again, I was (and remain) convinced that Tony died.
It could have been more clear.
I'm okay with it now, but when it aired, I was ed, confused and then disappointed.
Agreed.Totally understandable. The blackout was confusing at first.
Then I did a little reading online where folks had figured it out. Made sense to me then, and is actually a pretty powerful ending.

I'm really hoping Breaking Bad gets the best finale ever. Also, I hope the Saul Goodman spinoff happens, love that guy.Agreed.
But I also think the people making it purposely made it that way so that they could have as powerful a death scene as possible while still leaving the possibility of him not dying (and being alive for a movie) on the table.
People talk about the artistic and intelligent ending, but I think cash was the real reason for the ambiguity...and the reason nobody ever clarified it, too. They were thinking they might be able to make a movie later and that would be difficult if they couldn't say, "No, no. He didn't REALLY die..."
I do think he died, though.
Tony is a lot like Walter White...I know he's a bad guy, but feel for him, like him and want things to work out for him. . (Tony was cuter, though.)
I hope we get a definitive ending from Breaking Bad!
Keep watching.I'm currently watching the Sopranos, just started season two... so uh, thanks.
