Since you guys like Spider-Man... I thought this would be cool to share with you....
I Just got done walking thru the set of Spider-Man 2... shooting here in Chicago..... yessssssss I know the movie takes place in NewYork... but the visual effects crew is in town now doing some shooting... One scene in particular they were shooting when I was on set ... at Lake St. & Franklin... was a EL (elevated train) scene... The Train speeds thru the canyon of skyscrapers.. And spider-man is supposed to be swinging from the buildings... while the train is speeding below him.... and thats your Spider Man 2 update

of course there are no stars on set... just the Vis Effects crew and camera equip and trucks up the wazooo everywhere...:lol: They are just taking the core back ground shots ...then of course... they will add spider man...and other things in later ... with tons of CG . Spider man 2 set pics

You know, we really take Film Making for granted now a days I think. How incredibly hard is it to shoot the correct shots and views for a movie like Spider-man, especially when your main character isn't even in the shot and yet he's doing crazy acrobatics and stunts all over the place. That must be really complicated to think, work, and plan out.
Superhero Hype has picked up an interesting rumour - when we'll get to see our first look at the Green Meanie. Universal Studios has apparently purchased over two minutes of air time for the SuperBowl where it will present the first full trailer for the "Hulk" movie which'll include our first glimpse of the creature in its final glory. The 2003 Super Bowl happens in San Diego on January 26th.

Actually, he's suing Marvel because he says they're not keeping up with an agreement they have that they should pay a percentage to Stan for all movies they make with his characters, and Marvel says that Stan is already well-paid through his "make-believe" job at Marvel.

I totally agree. I hated it when they pushed him out of Marvel saying they needed to save money. If it wasn't for him, NONE OF THEM would be there.

Just a sidenote...I saw the trailer for DareDevil...I think it looks soooo good (although...not too sure about Ben Affleck)...
Kingpin will be good...but he's not what I pictured...I was picturing someone more like King Kong Bundy :lol:
As much as I think this movie will be good, I'm sure it will not see that high of numbers.... many people say "Who's Daredevil?" Several say "What does he do?" and some just don't like him. I however will enjoy it, but it will be a more die hard audience I think. I am so glad they did it professionally though, that was the one thing lacking from both Video Game and Super Hero movies in the past. Look at Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat comparred to Super Mario and Double Dragon.

Well, I have HEARD of Daredevil but know NOTHING about him...what little I do know is that he is a blind superhero but has almost like a "Spidersense" pretty much being able to KNOW things and react to them before they happen.

The daredevil trailer makes it look well done and faithful to the comic book, but I'm a little concerned that it could seem too "formula". It seems like there have been quite a few films and TV shows with similar heroes recently and I'm afraid if it doesn't stand out, (the way Spider-Man did) movie executives ( who don't really understand these things ) may say "See, people are getting tired of superhero films".
