California appears to be on track for a New Night Parade. Florida is stuck with the Electrical Parade for a while longer.

They had an electrical parade identical to Disneylands and Magic Kingdoms. They're are 3 origionals, tokyos ran before Fntillushion came along. That wasn't a bad looking parade either. Maybe hats the one that's the one where talking about?

Maybe they just hoard things from old attractions. I heard that Disney Worlds old set of units came back for refurbishment, got sent to Hong Kong and they decided they didn't want it so they got tossed. Maybe that's a rumor, maybe it's going to be refurbished at Tokyo and be sent to Hong Kong. Those guys are well over due for a light parade. They can have it, that's my least favorite set of units. I much rather have Disneylands set of units over Disney Worlds old ones any day. Disney Worlds Electrical Parade never had as much as Disneylands. They had its a small world but what's the point of those. Disney Land has Pleaure Island and the 7 dwarfs and a better circus which is not being used at the time:-(.

I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour 2 weeks ago and in the Parade storage facility sat MSEP and the Spectromagic floats. So the spectro floats are in Florida. As for the condition, just by the looks of the Spectro floats compared to the MSEP floats, they seemed to be in rough shape. Another person on the tour asked the guide if Spectro would be returning and she said theres no talk about it being brought back right now but could be a possibility in the future. She even entertained the fact that they could refurb some of the current Spectro floats into a new parade. I'm pretty sure these are just her own ideas though. In my opinion I hope Spectro does come back but don't see it happening anytime soon.

Count me as a Floridian whos happy the Electrical Parade is still at the Magic Kingdom. Im glad they brought it back and I hope it sticks around for a good while longer. Granted its nostalgic for me and I also think its cool that my 5/6/7 year olds get to essentially watch the same parade I did when I was there age.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I visited Art of Animation last July and took a tour. One of the CMs leading the tour told me that Spectro! was scheduled to return sometime this year and that an Oswald fuzzy character was also to be expected. He also told me about Rapunzel's tower being built, so that turned out to be true. I guess we'll see if the rest is as well

This thread makes me sad every time I see it. When I was younger I remember seeing the MSEP in WDW. Then, when Spectromagic came along it absolutely blew my mind. I loved the floats and I love, love, love, LOVE the music. If they don't bring it back, I'm going to be absolutely devastated. I'd even take a parade with different floats but the same music. So depressing.

Hopefully they did, but it wouldn't shock me in the least if whoever bungled this thing got a promotion. That's usually how it works.
