Spaceship in Spaceship Earth

How cool/neat would it be if Epcot did some expansion in Future World and had a planetarium. Perhaps have a laser light show or something, it would fall in line with the educational theme Epcot has going.

There are so many possibilities with what could happen at Epcot, if only WDW had some TLC/budget.

That would make a good post show for Mission Space. Though I think they would need to expand the building.

As fun as they are, there is a danger there with bringing in things like that that are typical science museum-type amusements. To draw people to the park, you need things that you can't find anywhere else. Now what could be awesome and unique is a space elevator simulator. For those of you who don't know a space elevator is a concept that is just about exactly how it sounds: some form of structure that stretches from the Earth's surface into space, for easier transport than rockets. Imagine something like a 3-D theater with a huge window in front of the screen, and the screen depicting your "view" as you ascend the space elevator. At the top, you'd disembark and explore a space station. Think "super-hydrolator"! :D

Alton Towers in England actually has an attraction similar to this concept. It is themed to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the story is about the elevator that goes through the roof.
