I said there’s talk of rerouting load / unload which would need rise system alterations. If that alters the rest of the track or the RVs I don’t know.
I'll be satisfied if they can eliminate the clunking sound.

Me too.I'll be satisfied if they can eliminate the clunking sound.
Nope. The screens were bolted onto the original cars.
Some gaffer tape and a bit of paint and they’ll be good as new
or just a little black curtain, they could rip down all the ones through the descent and cut them up and wallaa!
TDO and chapek would love the cost savings.
Im sure they have a big stock over at imagination.....They’d still need gaffer tape to stick the curtains on though.
Are they getting rid of those dumb touch screens and cartoons?
They don't really need to *remove* the screens, per se. They could just turn them off. That would be good enough for me.
I could get on board with closed captioning for the hard-of-hearing as well as a narration selection at the beginning like there currently is.Keep them for language options, but I would suggest doing something else with them...

But I don't think there is a need for trivia, it would just be a distraction. The focus of the ride should always be outwards, not on the screens.
That’s what I’ve wanted since they put them in. They give language options, but it should be much deeper. Let us listen to the old narrations, imagineering commentary, trivia, scavenger hunt, etc.Keep them for language options, but I would suggest doing something else with them...
It would be cool if they made SE have an option with trivia/history of the attraction and scenes, translations of the AA audio or even closed captioning for people with hearing issues.
The screens, themselves, aren't a bad idea. The current use of the screens is just bad.
Yes! I've forgotten about that effect. I'd love to see it again. One effect I would really like to see as it was very simplistic and now it's even easier to do.....The animated chariot in the Rome scene..
It was only removed because a senior imagineer thought it looked cheesy. Hopefully, said imagineer has no influence on the next refurb. One effect I would really like to see as it was very simplistic and now it's even easier to do.....The animated chariot in the Rome scene..
And he was right! Not a bad thing, but totally unnecessary to the show along with being laughingly cartoonish. I mean when would you see a night glow chariot along with a night glow rider going along in the dark. The way it is done now is much more realistic and no where near as weird. It was only removed because a senior imagineer thought it looked cheesy. I called it the ghost chariot. I miss it.One effect I would really like to see as it was very simplistic and now it's even easier to do.....The animated chariot in the Rome scene..

With better projectors I'm sure they can..Yeah im torn i miss it too but i do agree it looked to much out of place it was too bright and ghostly. However that scene lacks much to look at i feel like the kenetic energy was a great touch. Maybe they could make it more realstic now?
