If it's supposed to be a "two-year closure" beginning within a few months, should we expect it open by around fall of 2021? Or is that too optimistic?

ID imagine, that they would do everything they can to be open by peak season of the 40th park anniversary. but hey its disney, where timelines are made up, and everything doesnt make sense.
good lord the wand!!!! i have photos from my trip in 02 that has the wand everywhere. I got to see the EPCOT Parade that didnt last long, but that wand.....History would indicate that's not a concern. SSE was closed on Epcot's 25th anniversary, though that big milestone was so utterly botched by management that it may not be useful as a point of reference. At least the wand was down in time (fond memories).
Too optimistic at the mo. Although at this rate it would have been built from scratch faster. If it's supposed to be a "two-year closure" beginning within a few months, should we expect it open by around fall of 2021? Or is that too optimistic?

How on Earth are they going to make it take that long? Will there just be 2 workers spending 8 hours a day? Movie crews build enormous sets much faster.Too optimistic at the mo. Although at this rate it would have been built from scratch faster.
Movie sets for the most part aren’t built to last. How on Earth are they going to make it take that long? Will there just be 2 workers spending 8 hours a day? Movie crews build enormous sets much faster.
And apparently neither was EPCOTMovie sets for the most part aren’t built to last.
That's more about the materials used not how long it takes to put the set together. It's not like something outdoors that requires more structural support to survive high winds.Movie sets for the most part aren’t built to last.

Really? I can see a lot of the current scenes easily working with this new scene, and some returned to the original (e.g. Greek Theater)... The DPB talked about it being about story telling and our story (of humanity). I don't see it as a fundamental change but rather a revert back to the original with a different emphasis.
Uniqueness of the building being refurbed, track replacement, having to move every single piece in and out of that building is no easy task, having to work in an area of the park that is not off stage which presents many challenges, the building is nearly 40 years old. Shall I go on?How on Earth are they going to make it take that long? Will there just be 2 workers spending 8 hours a day? Movie crews build enormous sets much faster.
