Space Mountain/Tomorrowland Transit Authority update...

HMF, I hope they pressure wash the mountain itself, but for audio I dunno if we will get it. I personally am more concerned that the classic star tunnel music and zig zag windows remain intact.
You really have had to go on the Disneyland version to understand how disappointing this is' to me at least. I remember back in 06 when I went to Disneyland after riding Space Mountain thinking WDW needs this. I really hope a "Real" refurb is in the works within the next few years.

Looks good! Nice new SM sign in the lime green scheme is bright and pretty. New FP and wait time signage with a much better font type than the previous signs (also like the lime green accents on the top and bottom. :))

Looks like we're getting a planter after all, not a fountain, but the area in general looks SO much better now that I really don't mind; good job to maint. on trimming those plants back.

My only gripe is that the old 1975 lights are still there (both on the mountain and the VIP/entrance area. We desperately need some new sleek LED lighting in the area...

It is disappointing when comparing to Disneyland, but comparing it to it's "old self", it's better. Not great, of course.

I have an idea what the circular deal could be, either.....

1. Fountain

2. Planter

3. Wishes dessert stand

4. Ash tray for T-Land smoking section

5. Sarlaac pit

6. Futuristic sand castle competitions

7. Nightly bon fire circle

8. World's largest sand pendulum

9. Sink hole

10. Sand box to throw the kids in while riding Space Mountain

Now those are all well and very possible but do not forget the new Lilo and Stitch play area for kids where you can meet Stitch, play with him in the sandbox, and best of all, expect the little alien to be in the on-ride photo creeping up towards you with his trusty ray gun.

...Hahaha! Seriously sometimes I think Disney keeps giving us Stitch on purpose just to make us mad.:zipit:

I vote for the Sarlaac pit.

And then we can just have Pressure Wash Guy stand there to be a fountain.

Let's not turn this into a Stitch thread. Good Greif! Some people act like his house is made of purple tarps and waves around a gun and a whirlygig.:lookaroun

He's got one attraction and a meet and greet in MK.
