I know a source. My aunt is a castmember that works on swmall world.Unlucky her.One thanksgiving the song was stuck in her head and she started singing it.

Great for your aunt, but, CMs are likely the last person to get inside info from. No offense to your aunt.

WOW!!! I am glad I missed this going on last night. :brick:

Welcome to all the newcomers.

Do a search on Space Mountain and you will find many threads discussing what is going on.

I have not head anything about the actual queue changing, but I personally do expect some small updates. Expect the loading area to be enclosed and the switchbacks may change to better acommodate FP. The addition of automatic gates also to loading area.

Cars are expected to remain single wide. Unless the track, tunnels, lift and all of the supporting structure are completely changed the ride does not support the addition of double wide trains. Sadly in order to have on ride audio the weight capacity of the infrastucture needs to be changed as well and we have not heard if the actual support strucure will be entirely replaced at this time, however a complete track replacement is now likely.

Dude.
I got excited when I saw a new 6 page thread about Space Mountain stuff. Imagine my disappointment when I click on it only to discover it's just 6 pages full of dewshes arguing with each other over stupid, petty $#!+ that doesn't even matter.

And yet, you find the need to post in here and complain. :)

And he also apparently missed the other 15 threads about Space Mountain,

Aw, but its so much fun to come in here as a noob and sound superior to all the "dewshes"!

And no, the irony of me posting this with a low post count is not lost on me.

BTW, what are "dewshes"? :)

Another Space Mountain thread. Imagine what it will be like by Christmas!

No.
Well, Martin, you and Lee and a few others are Kings to us...:)

In all seriousness...we all need to take a step back and breathe. First of all, the thread that all the Space Mountain info that is known so far has been posted in this thread, so if you're looking for the latest info, that's where it is.

Second of all...there is no need for the hostility from anybody here...whether you're a newbie or an oldie, this is a civil place. Not a place for name calling. Let's try to keep it civilized here.

Third...as to the one who said that he knew an Imagineer from You Tube...it's great that you might know someone...you maybe do, you maybe don't...but, as others have pointed out here...there are plenty of people who have proven their trustworthiness on their information. Those are the ones we rely on the most. That's not to say you don't have the info, but it's harder to believe someone who just spouts things off that hasn't been around here but a few days. Our insiders that we trust have been here for years. It takes time to build a reputation as an insider and if you truly have insider connections, time will tell. Really no offense meant...

What the heck is a Sobat?

(besides a river in Africa)
It's an acronym not official or Disney/tech-lingo at all but commonly used by people as proof that they know something you don't know, or they are very intelligent.

People refer to it as "Syncronized On-Board Audio Track"...

But Disney just calls them "Soundtrackers".

A lot of threads without a lot of information. Its great to speculate on what will be added, and some people like to drag out rumors; but the constant threads give us no information. Hopefully soon we will all hear officially what will be done.

It is about time that WDW add thier own Blue Sky Cellar so that naysayers can be laid to rest.

Yes.. because front-line CM's are always 100% informed on capital budget upgrades around the resort... no doubt...
