Just to keep track of Space Mountain's coaster competition, I give you photos of the rather cool trains over at Rip Ride Rocket.
Anyone think SM will have trains anywhere near as cool as these?
Anyone......
I don't think I do.

Yep...color-changing LEDs. Visible in the daytime. Nifty speakers.
All around sweetness.

Wow.... on board LEDS i presume. nice. I bet that makes for a wicked view of night time riding.

Here's to hoping that the glow-in-the-dark or black light activated sides turn electric... or even something a bit more out of the box.

VERY nice...:(

You know how people are on this forum... anything from a paint bucket to a ladder to a crane we freak out about. Im certain that if any scaf was photographed it would bring credibility back to the thread and topic. :D
I know I would be.

^ Also expect a large amount of people

 I'm kinda nervous about going considering that everyone will be at the Germany pavilion that evening if you know what I'm saying.;)

Hope there is something to see...

Don't worry. If there is nothing outside than there will certainly be something inside.:lookaroun

Aren't they keeping the same trains?

If so, then no.:snore:

Yeah, I saw those. Really digging this coaster. New maneuvers that aren't inversions, LED's on the trains Hollywood-Dream style, on-board video, Anthropomorphizing with young Animated Characters. The ONLY thing I really want is a J-Pop/J-Rock song on board.

THEN I would be a fan for life.
:D

Is there a new target opening date for Rip, Ride, Rockit?

It's interesting that they have tiered seating, the only coaster I've been on that has that is Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and that has a holding break before a drop. Are you being held at the top of the lift hill before going into the non-inverted loop?

Still on target for early July.
The lift/rollback issues should be resolved in a matter of days.

Tiered seating....becoming more common. All Maurer X-Cars are like that (I think), Intamin is using it on it's hypers lately, and I think B&M used it on Diamond back and Behemoth.
