I'm not kidding. You brought some information about SM that nobody had mentioned here before. I remember you saying you have a relative working at Disney so keep posting stuff you hear. If you can.

OK then. She said she also saw them bringing loading gates in a week ago.they were silver and had a place for lighting.

As an update to the soundtrack thing, I just took a look at the site and the entire paragraph about a musical score has been removed. I'm guessing by the fact that it was removed after it made its way through the online communities today (despite the fact that it was in a thread several months ago here) confirms that there will be no audio. I suppose the other possibility is that somebody simply jumped the gun before they wanted it to be announced, but given our insiders info I imagine they became aware of the mistake on their website today and quickly removed it: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/magic-kingdom/attractions/space-mountain/

Umm....no.
There have been no loading gates of any color brought to the site. In fact, nothing new has gone in, only old stuff going out.

So at this point, all of the old stuff that is going to be taken out is in the process of being taken out now. Does that mean we may not hear about anything new going in for a while?

Here is someone else who claims to be someone in the know.

Sounds great if true. Thank you for the information.

Themed air gates is 100% definite, I've seen the full scale mock up of them. Think fancy blue lighting... Don't ask how, when, or why I saw them, just know that it is accurate information.

While not trying to discredit Lee or jump to conclusions about information I don't know to be 100% factual... I'd like to hazard a guess that there is in fact some new equipment inside of the mountain and that some of it has been there for a bit. Installed during third shift prior to SM going down in areas not accessible to guests and not turned on yet as it was useless in the pre-refurb SM. Plans change and my guess could be completely wrong, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

I can't do anything to prove my credibility besides take a look at my Toy Story Mania preview. While posted shortly before cast previews started, that preview was from 1 month+ before cast previews started when access to the attraction was still heavily restricted. Take my information with a grain of salt if you wish, but I figure I might as well add some factual information to rampant speculation.

Jasonflz and Maya, please please please please PLEASE stop "wavin'". It's extremely irritating to read on a website dedicated (or a least a forum) for the latest news on the World. Do what's best and use your energy on something constructive. As a teenager, it's not very difficult to learn to make polite conversation without spawning a 100 page thread war.

Please.

Now back to the scheduled topic.
Is it August yet? Seriously

Those air gates look awsome. Hope those are going in.
Yes, back to topic. I have thought that lighting package in that interior was brilliant. Loved it. I havent seen it first hand, only through photos so if it looks good in those, i cant image in person.

I'm thinking that it was planned for the refurb and then taken out as budgets got tighter? I guess they just forgot the website...:lol:

basic rules of general construction.. Get all of your Demo (demolition) out of the way first.. rip out EVERYTHING that isn't staying.. Then you clean up the site and prep for the new build-outs and installation...

Thats when things will start being brought it that matter.... I wouldn't be surprised if Central Shops is buzzing with props and fabrication right now...
