For those that have been, how long is the overall dining experience?? I’ve heard some weird talk of 3+ hours which makes zero sense to me.
I was there Thursday night and it took way longer than we expected. We were in the restaurant for around 2 hours, most of the time just waiting for the next course. I think they're understaffed because there were probably a dozen tables empty at any given time. Our waiter kept making the same joke about a "new guy in the kitchen" to everyone.

ETA: I got curious, so I looked at the timestamps on the photos I took. We ordered our drinks, appetizers, and entrees at the same time right at the beginning and dessert as we were finishing the entrees.

Reservation time: 6:15
Checked in: 6:08
Boarded the elevator: 6:13
Seated: 6:16
Drinks arrived: 6:41
Appetizers arrived: 6:52
Entrees arrived: 7:32
Desserts arrived: 8:01
Check paid and exiting: 8:21

I hope you had a nice time.

Paying the prices for EPCOT 2 hours is way better than them pressuring a table to leave after 60 minutes.

90 minutes is average at a family restaurant. In my small town we have been in the family restaurant over 2 hours many times.

So for me 2 hours seems just right and heck if it was 3 hours better there than at IHOP. I am never in a rush when I eat at WDW, if I am I don't choose an expensive sit down restaurant myself.

IF I am hanging out 3 hours at Space 220, some people might be upset, but personally I would not complain.

We didn't complain, but I wasn't thrilled with how long it took. It cost us the time we needed to head up to the front to see the new SSE lighting because Harmonious was in 20 minutes by the time we got out of there so I only got to peek at the lights over the walls in the central spine. I'm very glad we got to do it for the experience as it was really the only "special" think we did for my bachelorette, but it's not a place I'm going to make an effort to revisit unless I can get a walk-up spot at the bar or lounge.

So .....
I've been told by a Guest Relations CM I know that on Sept 28th, anyone who had a reservation had it cancelled with no forewarning.
The owners of the restaurant had a media event, and the sudden cancellations left many Guests disappointed and in some cases irately outraged.
It was H-E- double hockey stick at the Epcot Guest Relations that day....eek.

I was over at Epcot on Monday around 1pm and the waiting line for the lounge was short.
I didn't attempt to get in, as I had to meet up with a friend and we had other plans.

It's the group size. I can get any any month except Oct 1 right now for 2 people, so that's strange you can't even get in the park.

As far as parks Test it very possible you can get two groups of 4 in or 4 groups of 2.

I have a family of 6. We fixed it by spitting into 3 and got everything we wanted.

Give me your exact dates if you want. I want to see if I can book those dates myself as a test.
FYI, Disney is holding back dining reservations for many EPCOT restaurants right now due to the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages. Those are not currently available, but will be eventually.

As a point of note, when they last sold the packages (2019) they became available in July.

We were there on the 30th and heard about that. They evidently tried to rebook everyone for other days, but I'd imagine it was pretty aggravating after how hard it was to get a reservation. When we were there, they were using the normally non-reservation lounge tables for the rebooked people and the only walk-up option was for one of the 10 (I think) seats right at the bar according to the CM at the entrance.
