Disney Food Blog is reporting that the flatware used here will be Tilia by Studio William.

Are customers going to have to go through security before exiting via space elevator to ensure nothing was stolen everyone's safety?

Individual pieces sell for $16-$24.

They know the flatware but not the menu? What is going on with this place?

Also, I smell a likely GE spork removal situation...

This is table service. Servers will bus the table removing empty plates and tableware. They'll notice if something is missing. This is opposed to the Star Wars spork issue where guests bussed their own tables making pocketing the spork oh so easy.

Also, this will be a high-price restaurant. Many of the guests at this restaurant can afford their own fancy tableware.

I plan to dine there approximately 24 times and take one piece flatware each visit. I'm sure after spending several thousand dollars it will make the $500 set really worthwhile.

Oh I see now, they had to cut the bread because all the budget went into the security that'll guarantee people don't run off with these

Hmmm... perhaps Mar 4 was once an opening day target given that this article came out on the 4th. It might have been under embargo until the 4th.

Jus' guessin'.
Or maybe in April.

From the article:

"Next month, Patina Restaurant Group (PRG) is set to launch into space with the opening of Space 220 inside EPCOT Center, creating everlasting magic in the city known for doing just that. "

The Site That Is At War With Disney has this clickbait title: Space 220 Restaurant Now Slated to Open in April at EPCOT

Their source? The tableware article we've been discussing which mentions "next month." In Clickbait's article, they say that this isn't confirmed. But that doesn't stop them from definitively putting in their clickbait title that it will open in April.

🙄

Hat might not stop them, but what about pants?

It's a boring day.
