I was wondering that myself. I havent a clue what any of you look like so unless someone is wearing gigantic mouse ears I may have a hard time locating you.

I'm guessing most of us should be wearing some type of Disney shirt. I probably will since 1/2 of my wardrobe is Disney and the other half is Comcast.......then again if you see a guy standing in the parking lot wearing a body harness, helmet and a tool belt....RUN LIKE HELL

Oooooh! What do you have? Usually when I start talking motorcycles around here, I end up talking to myself.

I inherited my dad's 1981 custom H-D Sportster. Sometimes me and the boke get along, other times we don't. It is definetly a love hate relationship. I love it, and it hates me.

Here we go. That wasn't easy. Most of my pictures of the bike are on regular old fashioned film.

Nice!!! I really like the bars and mirrors. Is that a stock rear fender and seat? I guess I don't remember the Sportsters from that era too well, but I like that seat and fender.

Looks like you've got some engine work too. Any details?

The seat and fender are custom. The engine was completely rebuilt in 1990 before my dad died. He loved the bike and spent all his free time working on it. I don't know what the situation is with the bars and mirrors. I was only 5 when he worked on it. In 2002 one of my gearhead friends did some work on it too (he ultimately wanted to buy it from me but couldn't come up with the money). Unfortunately I am pretty clueless about it outside of knowing how to ride it.

What do you ride?

I like the way the bars are very solid and direct. They should give you real good feel and control almost like a flat-tracker. A lot of customs use big, looping bars that take away the feeling of being connected.

Here's mine:
