Song of the South?

I think Disney should release Song of the South. It's not a racist film, just based in a time period during which slavery was the norm. If worse comes to worse, have the MPAA re-rate the film and release it with whatever rating they decide (I would expect either a PG or PG-13 rating).

I agree. It would be great to see the film. There are many films that depict that period of time in our history and they are still available to be viewed. I just do not think disney is ready for that committment.

Agreed. It still is a classic film and it really isn't racist. Hopefully this shows up on a special edition DVD. Imagine a bonus feature talking about Splash Mtn. :sohappy:
