Something you have done in WDW only once?

Victoria

Not old, just vintage.
I have several things that I have done only once.

-This past week I did Impressions de France for the first time ever. I would do it again though.
-I did Astro Orbiter (or whatever it was called back in 1991) once. I would do it again, but I just never feel like waiting for it.
-I did the Narnia thingy at DHS once shortly after it opened. What an absolute waste of space (and my time!)
-Playhouse Disney at DHS. Sitting on the floor with screaming pre-schoolers just isn't my thing.
-Mission:Space back when it first opened. I was so sick after that I vowed never to go back. Now I will ride the green side, but only if I am SUPER bored.

If I told you I would have to kill you:lookaroun!

Ha ha just kidding!

Seriously, I would have to say the Swiss Family treehouse is the biggest waste of time ever!

The MHTP (Tea Cups) only because my DH is an a$$ and spun them so much I was unbelievably nauseous, I should have puked on him!

Oh and one of the few things I have never been on in all my trips to Disney is Tom Sawyer Island. I don't know why but, I just never make it over there.

That's like the only thing I have never done in WDW out of all my trips. I always end up loosing track of the time and just simply look over it until it's too late. Hoping to do that this December though.

- Sperry Computer Exchange at CommuniCore. (Oldtimer)

Wait in line, watch a lenghty pre-show, and see a room with a....ba-boom-tish...computer.

Well it was kinda exciting back in 1983.

- Did the AstroOrbiter / Starjets only once too. I rather liked it! It's fun to soar over the MK, you get a great view. The lines are a bit too long to make it a repeat experience though.

- Speedway.
I had to wait for over an hour in the blazing sun, temperature and humidity approaching the high nineties, only to then be stuck behind a four-year old who was afraid of the gas pedal. And turned the already less-then-thrilling experience into an agonising traffic jam. If I pushed him, I got angry looks. If I stopped, hoping to create a space of fifty feet between us so I could drive at least a bit at full speed, the folks behind me gave me angry looks. It took forever to return, I left almost in tears.

Summit Plummit. I'm glad I did it so that I can say that I did. But it was uncomfortable pulling my swim trunks out of my hiney afterward. :lookaroun

You should definitely go to Tom Sawyer Island...GO EARLY!!! and FIND A PAINTBRUSH!!! You will get a free fastpass for the ride of your choice for your entire party. My DH found one when we were there in June:sohappy:

Spaceship Earth.
I went on it the first time I visited WDW and that was enough for me!

Tom Sawyer's Island. We finally did it this last trip..this past June. It was HOT, HOT, HOt and there were only two working drinking fountains to be found...one up near the cave entrance and one in the fort. Both had long lines and hot water! IF we ever do that again we will stop and get drinks to take with us. Although the kids weren't too impressed...but our schools do a trip to Hannibal Mo. so the novelty wasn't really there.

The Liberty Riverboat, haven't riden it since back in the 80's with my grandparents. I wish I could add Mission Space to this but I have unfortunately riden it twice, my kids begged me to ride it this year again and it was not fun:hurl:

SGE...rode it for the first time last year despite the bad reputation, and that was a mistake on my part.

M:S...the presence of :hurl: bags was enough to convince me I never needed to ride again.

If you did it in the 80's then you rode the starjets.:)

Yep. Did it. Done. I would also add Swiss family Treehouse, Stitch, and Tiki Room Under New Management.
You need to bring Thomas on Tiki Room...he would like it..:)
Well...There was nothing to do, but meet Mickey, and I have never been into Meet and Greets!

I have never met him, BTW
....:lookaroun

Good responces, everyone!:)
:eek::eek:

You need to meet Mickey Mouse...that is unheard of to not meet the Mouse..it is like having a chance to meet Walt Disney himself and not taking it!

December, you need ..NEED to meet him...:D

Mine is Mission Space..waste of time and space..and Star Tours ...makes me nauseous..

:)
