You just lost the respect you earned from the Don Draper comment :(

There are so many good American beers, why waste your liver cells on Margaritavilla Anheuser Busch crap?

HA I said this country not this city at the moment... I wouldn't trade it, but certainly I would improve it!

As far as I know we are 3 from this wonderful city.... mickey's brother is one of us.

I don't remember if it was this past March or December but my sister and I wanted to go up the top level to watch Illuminations and CM stopped us because it was closed off for a private party. Maybe they are going to fix it up for more parties.

I thought the Yukon and Northwest Territories were in the film!?! Anyways, the reason I find it sad is b/c my province is left out!

Well, if the content came from individual provincial tourisms groups then I find it hard to believe why there isn't anything there on NL. We have a pretty aggresive tourism campaign as of late. Our government has bought advertising time on CBC, CTV, the Discovery Network, the History Channel, BBC Canada, TSN and others. In fact our tourism videos have been voted the best.

Concerning rides in WS, while I agree with you to a certain extent... if the rides attract more people into a pavilion... then more people get to see that pavilion!

Northwest Territories is in the show, it is the sunset scene. I do not know if Yukon or Nunavut are in the show. I'll have to double check.

Remember this video was created in 2006, released in 2007. Things were different even just 5 years ago. I am not sure the reason your province wasn't included other than what I understood from other people (Provinces helping contribute to the making of the show). Again, as I said in my earlier post, don't quote me on it but I would suggest bringing it up to the tourism commission. It won't do any harm. Disney cast members that run the attraction are well aware of the provinces that aren't in the film. =)

. Trust me when I say going to the Canada Pavillion is much more exiting than actually going to the "great white north"......[/QUOTE said:
Just remember when you are walking around the World Showcase, what some may see as a joke, others may see as offensive. Everyone is different. Some Cast Members may take "eh?" as a joke and might remark "Ya'll" and join in the fun; other Cast Members may find "eh?" insulting. Remember that if you are making a joke - acknowledge it and make sure the Cast Member acknowledges that it was just for fun and that you aren't mocking them. If you make a "eh?" joke (for instance) and a cast member remains silent, they likely didn't take that as a joke. Another example, when people crowd the Kidcot table in Japan, the Japan Cast often won't react by asking you to create a line...though I'm sure they'd like it, that is their culture not to ask because they feel it would be rude. So just remember that there are lots of cultural differences around the showcase and everyone is different...not everyone reacts the same way as you (or your culture) does.

In many ways, that is the beauty of the World Showcase. There is so much to learn, so much culture, etc. It's great for kids too because they learn about the world around them. The day is spent with fun (Future World) and learning (World Showcase). Don't forget your "Please and thank you's". Epcot is soooooooo much more than just "rides".

I can't tell you how much I agree with the World Showcase sentiment you state here. It is such a wonderful tool to help us Americans learn about places outside our borders.
