Some love for Canada finally?

I love World Showcase.....it truly does give all of Epcot's visitors from all around the world, a chance to learn and visit places they might otherwise never have the opportunity to.

Your original post was made in the context of talking about refurb to the pavilion -- there was no call to comment on Canada as a place or as a military power or as a friend of the US. But you chose to do so, and in a way that was deliberately designed to say "Canada is boring and weak" and to make yourself out to have superior knowledge of Canada than others around here ("Trust me when I say").

That isn't the same as if somebody asked "What do you think of Canada?", and you said "I find the place a little boring, but Canada is a good friend and we'll protect Canadians with all our might."

I was actually saying that I liked the Canada pavillion in a different way than it was percieved....

true, I didn't have to throw in the "veil of protection" part.... so I was feeling patriotic that day....Canada is not weak... I just ment on the global scale of - If the USA was to disappear into thin air today, This side of the world would look VERY different by next year, not that Canada is weak, but the sheer #'s of population, Canada is what , 30 million or so? wheather anyone wants to think about it or not the world is a very dangerous place with others that want to hurt other people- not saying we are perfect in the US either.

I really didn't think that the comment would get any attention, I have seen MUCH worst comments here on the boards.

I like the Canada pavillion- the attraction is great!
Some have told me the older/original movie was better? But I never saw it.

I'm glad to see the Canada Pavilion getting some attention, it looked horrible in March.
