I'm plenty thick skinned.. but I also don't have to deal with personal attacks..

The information was accurate "at the time"... things change.. if YOU can't handle that, perhaps you shouldn't put as much on a post from anyone in a News and RUMORS thread.

I am compelled to continue coming here.. What I share about what I know, in the future... we'll have to see... I didn't post anything to be 'disproven' or 'rewarded' ... I just shared what I was told... nothing more than that..

Therein lies the point of all of this, WildcatDen. It was not true yesterday. It was not true over the weekend. It was not true last week. It was never true. A ride without a trained staff is not going to open for the enjoyment of park guests. This is not a matter of speculation. Wdw71fan even implying that it might happen is instilling false hope in the very people that are lashing out against me at the moment for simply and politely stating fact. And the fact is that those truths I spoke elicited a "I'm taking my ball and going home" reaction - which in itself should speak volumes.

IIRC the same individual threw around a ton of misinformation in regards to Spectro. Many of the true reputable here posted the abysmal state of the parade while at the same time this poster was saying it was being prepped for return. We saw how that went.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong (because I very well could be - I only did a quick search), but wasn't this post by @wdw71fan the first mention of a video or commercial shoot? And the day was correct (just not the time, understandably).

The information was not accurate then, nor is it accurate now. You are not an "insider." It doesn't take much experience in this industry to know that a ride without trained staff will not open. It takes equally little experience in this industry to know that it takes more than a few minutes to train a staff to operate a roller coaster - regardless of the height/speed/scale that coaster may be. It was not accurate at the time. It sounded good to you at the time, so you presented it as accurate.

Here's the fact: I've been nothing but polite and professional in my replies to you, whereas yours to me have been overly defensive and accusatory in the sense that you're clearly trying to paint me as attacking you while you paint yourself as the innocent victim. Neither could be further from the truth. Your information was inaccurate, so I not only pointed that out, but gave reason as to why. If you want to convince yourself or a handful of others that I'm "the villain" then so be it; my intent was not to create a feeling of self-importance but to simply share accurate information. With all due respect, reading your posts in this thread alone gives to me, in my humble opinion, the impression that to you it's much more important to appear "in the know" than do what this thread was *actually* created with the intention of - help Disney fans within driving distance of the Magic Kingdom make it to the park in time when the first of the soft openings really do happen. That's the clear difference between you and I here: I just want to ride the new attraction, and share information with others so they may equally benefit by riding something new in the proper time frame whereas you want to be right.

you need to understand, that many people have come here before.. claimed to have "internal" information; while in reality they were the same type of pathological liars that has appeared in the forum many times to spread lies and completely inaccurate information.
So people nowadays are sceptic when someone comes out of nowhere and throws the "I KNOW SOMETHING, I HAVE INSIDER INFORMATION!" routine.

The disinformation and the sources are usually used in jokes as well.. like those "a bus driver told me...".
Because those Bus Driver CMs, are of course; of the lowest tiers in regarding information.

It doesnt help your nick is very similar to some of the most trusted names in the forum. aka @WDW1974

Spectro was being evaluated for return.. that is when the damage was discovered..

I was also the first to report that the parade units had been destroyed.. and the doubters came out then too.. until it was shown to be true. .

Haters gonna hate.

Last I am saying on the subject.
