So, who wants to do this on Rock n' Rollercoaster?

Um, not me....

Some people have WAY too much time on their hands....

I mean really, the pieces would fly everywhere, you wouldn't be able to enjoy the ride, it would be a mess....

Are the pieces glued on or something? Because there's no way you'd be able to hold all of those pieces while on a roller coaster or something.

Yes, you glue the pieces down (did you scroll down and read the comic?)

I'm totally doing this next year.... if i remember.

I should try that on Kingda Ka at Six Flags, I can't imagine playing chess on a ride that intense, maybe on something like BTMRR.

On the mine train at Six Flags over Georgia, my buddy and I always act like we're knitting during the ride. :lookaroun

Very clever. Never thought of bringing a game on the ride. On Splash, we usually try to come up with an original picture when we are in a group that fills the whole log. Our best pic was when we turned our head around and got a picture of the back of everyone's head.

Lee, that's awesome.

By the way, as a card-carrying ACE member, I suppose I should note that I do not condone breaking any park rules such as "contraband" on rides, etc that might come loose and strike someone behind you. And I say this, having ridden Great American Scream Machine and caught someone's gum on my forearm. :hurl:

Nonetheless, in theory, it's hilari-mus.

Would never worl on KK. It would actually be dangerous on that ride.

Possibly could be done on RnRC as long as the chess pieces are glued onto the board.

Lee, I would so try that. (But it's Gerstlauer, so I might break something. :lookaroun)

My friends and I have taken a map on a few rides for the photo op, though we'd all agreed we'd do it on tamer rides. No one wants a park map to come loose on Top Thrill Dragster.

I still think Theme Park Review gets the award for Best On-Ride Photo:

haaa! I could never keep that straight of a face while plunging on a roller coaster, I always look like a freggin fool in those pictures!

Seems they are stingy about the displayed pics lately. My husband and son threw up the rock & roll hand sign during a Splash pic and when we went to go look at it, it had the screen saying something like "Could not be displayed" Guess they assumed it as obscene. Then I told my hubby "Good job, ruining the picture for everyone, ya dunce!" ((smack on the back of the head))
