So What's The Mysterious "Third IP" Coming to DHS?

True, any chance in heck ( :) ) Middle Earth would be the IP coming? I know Christopher Tolken is holding out. It probably better appeal than GoT.

LotR is one of the most violent movie strings out there. Its virtually one battle after another, and very dark. There is very little 'family friendly' about the franchise and I think its just too narrowly focused for Disney's tastes.

And after awhile, one orc from one movie looks like another orc from another movie, and so on.

It should also be noted that JRR Tolkien hated Disney for dumbing down the old fairy tales and Chris presumably is the same. It'll be interesting to see what happens when he passes and the grandkids/great grandkids decide to cash-in on those sweet Silmarillion rights you just know Peter Jackson is craving.

Even mentioning Lord of the Rings is a headache to me. I don't see the appeal, but that's a personal issue. Never have I wanted to explore any of those worlds. And what could you even create, really (in terms of rides and restaurants)? And also make it geared towards everyone...

I love GoT. But, in addition to its not family friendly nature, it's ending soon, and won't have a lasting cultural impact once it's done.
Even before the TV series the books had huge following; TV just put it on another plane (or two). And it seems like its approach is inspiring a bunch of series/movies which is sort of an indicator of a lasting impact. Not to mention its sustained popularity over the last six years; there are only a couple of things in the last half decade that can compare with it.

Bah, Tolkien and his kid were/are snobs. People are free to interpret what dwarfs and elves are like any way they want. Tolkien just didn't like Disney's take. Or maybe he was upset that Walt's dwarfs acted a little too much like his Hobbits. ;) (Yes, I've read the Hobbit/Rings books, and frankly, Bilbo, at times, reminds me a lot of Doc). Personally, I don't like Tolkien's take on elves. What a stuffy, boring lot they turned out to be. And in the movies, they reminded me of Vulcans. Feh. I'd take Tinker Bell over Arwen any day.

Sure... Disney will bring Game of Thrones to DHS. Then look for 50 Shades Gray to come to MK!
Seriously though. They're moving the ride system from UoE over to DHS (or park formerly known as... someone's gotta come up with a symbol like Prince did...) and the attraction will allow riders to follow our hero on his adventure as he....wait for it. Wait for it!
STEALS THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE! YES!
