Hadn't seen this thread in awhile and thought I would post. :)

Since fall is here I thought it was time to start making soup. Vegetable soup tonight with the last of my herbs. Served with toasted peanut butter sandwiches to dip in the soup...:lol: a tradition at our house.

Same here in Rio de Janeiro!!! It's the end of winter here. Well, we don't have cold weather, but there's a cold front here right now, and we are taking the opportunity to have some pea soup!

Not the proper B'ham I take it :p

Were out tomorow with some old service buddies as the current Mrs Sak has survived 25 years without an upgrade, so its chinese followed by a rum and maragarita session.

Pizza tonight, diet can take a hit this weekend.

Frisco burger and root beer float at Steak-N-Shake last night, since we were on the road back from Cleveland. Two of our daughter's favorite restaurants down in Orlando are along I-90, that and Cici's Pizza. So it's a safe bet that if we visit the Cleveland Metroparks or Erie zoos, that we will stop at one of these.

Tonight, Bree's having potato and onion pierogis; Aidan and I will be having tortellini.

I so wish I could say we did not have winter here but the soup was good.

Congrats! Does this mean you are moving? We just did that in April and I am still tired...:lol:

I love movie days we did that yesterday and had Steak & cheese paninis with roasted peppers and onions.

Today we are having a kielbasa dish with potatoes, sqaush, peppers, mushrooms and onions, garlic all cooked up in a cast iron skillet til it combines in to a starchy yummy goodness.

I threw it together one day when I forgot to lay any meat out and it turned out to be a fave, especially on a hoagie roll. :lol:
