So, is Unleash the Villains still happening?

and should we be worried about DHS closing for capacity? With a special one time firework show AND on a Friday night... this could be disastrous!

But there's nothing all that special about DHS on NYE. I expect this to pull Leap Day 2012-like crowds (which probably makes it the perfect night to do MNSSHP).

That's what Im afraid of lol. However with MNSSHP going on that night Im not sure how it will play out... One thing is for sure every FL resident die hard/APs/CMs will be going to DHS which made up a Very large percentage of the crowds at Leap Day, 40th ann, Epcot 30th, Etc.

Something I never faced but If the DHS parking lot does reach capacity where is the next best place to park? The TTC or DTD?

There are huge crowds on property on NYE and a rare DHS firework show, combined with closing at the MK. If that isn't going to cause a close nothing is.

Megara was testing at EPCOT, supposedly for this event. Don't consider her a villain, but sounds like they're going to the way-back machine. Also have an Equity friend who tweeted he'll be doing something new for this event--presumably a face character. This is the LTM event they planned the longest, sounds like they're pulling out all the stops.

Elsewhere? Hmm Fantillusion?

Fantillusion really doesn't have anything to do with the event, and a parade soundtrack wouldn't really work for a fireworks show. Tokyo Disneyland did have a halloween themed fireworks show a few years ago, so it wouldn't surpirse me if they just used that one.

Halloween events always bring out the obscure characters. Also, Limited Time Magic over at Disneyland just used Meg for Long Lost Friends, so that could be another factor.

My partner is a huge fan of Ursula. I don't recall ever having seen an Ursula that was available for meet & greets. Is there any hope that we might be so lucky at this event?
