So I booked mine & my husband's first trip to the world tonight!! I can't be anymore excited. :) Now it's just all the planning that need's to be done. We are going November 12th to the 18th and got the free dining service. This is supposed to be a romantic trip for us. So I was trying to plan a few thing's out to suprise him with. But Seeing where I don't know a whole lot about disney I came here to get some help. One thing that I was planning was the characters in flight. Has anyone done it? Is it worth it? I need some help finding some other thing's that he would enoy with me. Any help would be greaty appreciated. I'm up for anything. Thanks in advance.

Personally I like characters in flight, and if you two aren't afraid of highest then go for it. there is also a carriage at the fort wilderness campground, it takes you around the camp ground before the magic kingdom fireworks start. A nice uncrowded way to see the fireworks. :)

There are also some tours you could take. I haven't gotten to do any of them, but if you go to the trip reports area and read through you will probably find a write up of one you will love somewhere.

You can also schedule a photo session at one of the deluxe resorts to remember your trip by.

I am sure there is more but my mind has gone blank! Sorry!

A photo session actually sounds nice.. How do you go about getting price's and what resorts do that? Don't they have a scooter type thing u can take a tour on? or horse back?

I'm the WDW planner in my family,

I would suggest a romantic dinner at the California grille followed by viewing wishes from the roof of the comtemporary.

I'm not sure what your budget is but there is the Grand ,1 a private yacht/dinner cruise at the Grand Floridian. DW loves Victoria and Albert's and wants to do it again next trip.

DW loved the afternoon tea on the veranda of the GF.She also always wanted to ride in a NASCAR and got her chance at WDW.

La Nuba at DTD was very nice.

The hoop de doo review was also fun for us.

One of the best days we had was at Thypoon lagoon, DS was old enough to go off on his own and we had a great day riding the lazy river and sitting "on the beach."

There are spa's with, I believe couples massages at the GF or Saratoga Springs.

I would get thw WDW planning DVD sit down and watch it with your DH and see what interests him.

Have a wonderful trip.

We do have a budget. But I am willing to pay for at least one thing he will really enjoy. I know he's alway's talked about riding or driving one of the nascar cars. How pricey can that be? & is it woth it? Thank u for you help.

For the life of me I can't remember what it cost. I would go to the Richard Petty Driving experience website. It was something we did as a whim and we booked it through the Concierge of our resort. She had a heck of a time crawling into the car through the window. They drove her around the track 3 times and my wife screamed the whole time. She says she loved it but wouldn't do it again.

Haha that's funny that she screamed the whole time. My husband would prob be the same way. Last time I looked I believe the price was around 300 a little pricey. So we probably won't be doing that. But thank you for the idea. :)

Well if you have triple A and it's a Richard Petty Driving Experience....it's $85 thru Triple A - not sure of the Nascar one...figure $100 and that's a pretty safe bet....

Let me elaborate....it's $85 thru Triple A if the professional drives him around the track 3 times....it's about $339 if HE wants to drive...
